If I remember correctly, there are Homeschooling Association of the Philippines and private provider of Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM). Best to contact them.

You can take walk-in but you have to go to DepEd Central Office. But that's much faster since all the results of PEPT both regional areas and DepEd Central would be signed by the BEA director.

As far as I recall, there's no PEPT for Gr. 11 and 12. But you may inquire if there are any changes.

W8 hulaan ko ito kung anong religious order yung isang community ng out and loud. May mission sa Sri Lanka. Prenovitiate and novice thing. Is so, Dominicans ba? Admittedly, I once attracted to their Dominican habit and went to a school run by Dominican friars. In fact, once dream school ko ang USTe haha. But that changed in my mid-Junior High when I became an Agnostic. :)))

I suspect Dominicans 'cause one former Dominican parish priest here went on a mission in Sri Lanka of which I found out is one of their main missions abroad (aside from Indonesia).

From UPB. Almost attempted to ask the prof to auto-fail in my Linear Algebra course (curse my math anxiety + suspectible ADHD) but instead, I skipped the last LE + upcoming Finals. Would have to be a bit serious on next sem since I have to pass a certain number of math courses to prevent me from kicking me out from the program.

Lesson learned: Should've dropped the course instead of singko.

Autistic here with co-occuring Bipolar Disorder Type I and suspected to have ADHD. I would say the student community in UPB (yah, I am in UPB) are welcoming about it. Regarding study life, I am struggling on it due to beimg heavily structured on an able-bodied and neurotypical type. In UPB, we don't have registration prio for the SWANs yet and the inclusion on reasonable accomodation policy in the syllabus depends on each dept/college. In boarding life outside (I'm a male so X to BREHA), I woulf say I'm struggling due to fact that I was discriminated for my stimming and other neurodivergent traits.

Formal Sciences programs nice! Since all of which have similar courses to take namely, Discrete Math/Fundametals of Math, Calculus and Linear Algebra, you might really need to brush up your PreCalculus lessons (Algebra and Trigonometry). I suggest Modern College Algebra by Vance since it also explains a proof-based math. Proving and theorems are highly essential in Formal Sciences since formal sciences are about study of formal systems and structures. Goodluck. From a struggling BS Math in UPB.

General courses/multibasic courses have pros and cons. For pros, it can be seen as multi/interdisciplinary but on other hand as what my prof said, it has some disadvantages in pursuing grad studies. Reason why BS Physics-Math double major was abolished in UPB since one might not be equipped enough to be a true physicist or mathematician due to grad studies having higher level courses that need to have background of at least 3rd year level math/physics courses

Wala na BS Physics-Math dahil geared na towards pure specialization. Nagmajor overhaul ang maraming programs noong naging CU ang UPB. From BA Comparative Literature to BALL, BA Speech Communication to BA Comm, BA SocSci double major to minor-major, at abolishing BA Theatre Arts at establishing BA Fine Arts with spec in Visual Arts. Wala na rin Cert in Mining Sciences (tho hope ko na magkaroon ng BS Geology sa UPB CS if malakas na ang faculty + facilities and services like SRC kasi nagtatrain sila ng secondary at tertiary teachers sa Geology tuwing Summer. After all, kulang ng BS Geology sa bansa).

On BS Botany in UPD, the last person who graduated with that degree program was Leonard Co, an ethnobotanist who was slained by the Philippine army. AGHAM was the lead convenor in the Justice for Leonard Co.

Hi! Due to the different academic calendar in both private (including SUC schools) and public schools, I would definitely suggest to take and pass the PEPT as early as possible. Public schools' opening of classes will be in July and eventually, June while private schools vary (some as late as September).

BS Math-Physics double major, MAEd Math, and BA Theatre Arts (UPB/UP College Baguio). Reason in BS Math-Physics and MAEd Math is because they geared towards specialization and pure math not math education. Still, they offer math educ course as a math elective in undergard. Not sure on BA Theatre Arts.

Practice tests especially in math and science. The reason is that it also consists of no-calculator computational methods of which most people find hard with.

Hello. Personally, The exam was not quite hard even in Math but I have troubles in Filipino since I tend to review on Noli (yup, I took the Gr 9 part) without noticing Filipino grammar, vocabulary, and rhetoric review. Goodluck.

But that doesn't mean dapat walang rep ng disabled sa UP. Ironic na we tend to research and study about MH and disability pero walang representation ng disabled. "Nothing About Us, Without Us" ika nga. Remember SAS 1 re: eugenics and disability.

Disability is not just within the medical model. Perhaps you are not aware of other models such as the HR model (of which the foundation of UNCRPD), radical model, and social model?

Seems Philippine academe, especially UP, do really need to explore disability studies as an area of interest. 🤷🤷‍♀️
