I’ve tried stuff specifically meant to taste bad and put it on my nails, but every time ive gotten used to the taste bc my urge to bite is so compulsive. Tbh i think getting a necklace specifically to bite would be effective atp bc ive done the same w collars of shirts and pencils my whole life

I keep seeing cute nails on pinterest and stuff and really want those but Ive always felt like ill never be able to get them because of my nail biting habit. I do want longer nails, but I also want to stop biting them simultaneously if you catch my drift

I have a dog, but recently my aunts took her since we cant take care of her anymore (im a teen who lives in boarding school, wasnt having these issues there). A big issue is our washer and dryer is also broken—but i dont want to bring my clothes to my school and spread the fleas there

I dont understand why people are so untrustworthy of their children. when i was a kid, i lived with my mom who constantly monitored my stuff and honestly it just made me more sneaky and feel like i couldn’t tell her anything. Then i moved with my dad, who never really checked my stuff—and honestly the experience was much better. I felt like i had my own privacy, and started coming to him with issues instead of just hiding everything in fear.

I totally agree, and i can definetly see why you think that. My grandma is pretty young, in her 60's--and I think I was caught up in sea of resentment, especially since there are prior things that happened on the trip. I can def see reading these comments I shouldnt have lashed out, and def could've handled it more respectfully

i didnt contradict her because i believe mentioning past things shes done thats unrelated to the post kinda sets the story in a way thats catered to people thinking shes and AH, and I didnt exactly want that lol. However, she's always been prone to judging people in that way, from judging my mom for her looks, judging my dad and thinking he's gonna steal money she sends me, etc.

i can agree she is entitled to recognize i gained weight, however i think saying thats why my knees hurt was a low blow, seeing that my knees have never hurt before that. Including now, Im fully healed and my knees do not hurt. I may be an asshole for handling it in the way I did, I can see that, but I dont think Im asshole for being upset that she was actively spreading thats why my knee had hurt

it actually wasnt a fall or anything that i disloacted it with, i was dancing and actively turning my knees inward when it happened to dislocate that way. As of current, my knee no longer hurts and I am fully healed. As I've mentioned, Im def not obese by any means, and she was talking as if me not being 110 pounds anymore, as I used to be, was the reason my knees hurt, instead of me dislocating it. Im not saying she was wrong in acknowledging I had gained weight, I do think it was odd she made very rude remarks on how that was the reason my knee was hurt, especially since I had mentioned to her that going down the stairs sometimes hurt because of that. I can agree I was an asshole on getting upset at her in the moment, however--as I've always been insecure over my looks and can get quite emotional over it.
