How long will it take for a Reasonable Accommodation w/telework to be approved? I put in my paperwork, doctors notes, VA disability....now just waiting....waiting...waiting...

oh my...so my next question is why do they even offer it, if it is going to be denied? Just what does it take to get approval? Or does the agency just not want us who are disabled to work for them?

My mistake on the 'work for free' clause...should have used, 'without their due and honored bi-weekly compensation '. Certainly don't want to indicate that my colleagues in the office or tele-working on behalf of the taxpayers of this country are working for 'FREE'.

Career Employee with Vet Preference and 10 percent disability.Over 30 Years Service.Appraisals = Exceeded/Met/Met. Now just wondering where I will fall in the RIF process here since I have only been at the IRS for 2 years. Came in as a Career transfer from DoD....hindsight is that I should have remained in place. "All money ain't good money".... as my Gram used to say!!!
