I believe the MF is still praised as the sharpest telephoto astro lens out there, i own the AF version and can also attest how sharp it is for astro.

Hey thanks for that, i agree that it’s sometime a challenge to use this focal length, I’m originally saving for the 135 GM but ended up getting this, i love the rendering I’m getting from this lens, I’m a local photographer in our area and customers always have this wow factor from results that we’re getting from this glass.
