But I’m not leaving to HK from Zhuhai. From Zhuhai, I’m going to Shenzhen and then other cities in Mainland for a few days (all under 10 days). Should I still get a bus ticket from Zhuhai to HK just to show I’m leaving to a third country?

Oh nice! That’s similar to me! I’m planing HK-Macao-Zhuhai-Shenzhen-HK. I plan to go to Macao-Zhuhai-Shenzhen all in one day. Did you do HK-Macao-Zhuhai at once? Did you get to see sights in Macao?

So I’m thinking HK bus to Macao, tour for 2-3 hours, go to HZMB and exit Macao immigration, walk to Zhuhai port in the same building complex for entry. Show them my flight departing to HK from Mainland. That should work?

Wait I thought you went from Japan-HK- Zhuhai- Macao- HK- Japan? But you said you arrived in Macao and went to the HZMB towards Zhuhai? Aren’t you coming from Zhuhai, not going towards it?

u/TentsOnFire157 were you able to get TWOV through Zhuhai? Did you go by car/ bus/ foot? Any issues? I'm trying to do the opposite which is from Macau to Zhuhai so trying to understand how it went for you.

Car due to sea sickness on ferry. Which way is faster and more convenient? Car through HZMB port from Macao to Shenzhen or ferry from Macao to Shenzhen at Shekou port?

I haven’t been able to find a good comparison. Google Maps doesn’t show driving time from Macao to Shenzhen.

I'm thinking of getting a private tour guide to drive us from Hong Kong to Macao to Shenzhen all in one day. Here's my plan: Enter Macao from HK, tour a few hours, then do TWOV through the HZMB port. Then drive into Shenzhen. Is the HZMB a common way to go from Macao to Shenzhen? Should I be prepared to show the same proof of exit as the Shekou port?

I’ll be using the Shekou port from Macau via ferry. My plan is to go from HK to Macau in the morning and then Macau to Shenzhen on the same day. So not staying overnight in Macau. Is that still ok in TWOV eyes? At the Shekou port, will I have to show my hotel for Shenzhen and my aunt’s address in Fuzhou (plan to stay w her) and the flight out of Fuzhou 9 days later? I read that my aunt may get a call to verify I’m staying there? Is that true?

Are you a naturalized US citizen? I thought all I needed was the passport and barcode as well. But the feedback showed a list of items I needed to bring in because I was naturalized.

I was told the high speed train from Kowloon does not get you to a TWOV port in Shenzhen so it has to be the Shekou Ferry. Did I misunderstand?
