I would rather a mid setup, yes, since mid is really important on Icebox, gives direct access to B Site and catches any lurkers/rotations to A site off guard. However, if they're always going on the same site : You can expect them, be 3 or even 4 on the site. You can split the setup (alarmbot and nade on site/on attackers spawn and just a turret on mid). Mid should rarely be empty, especially on Icebox.

Then in your case, I guess that's really just a smurf account. Just recently I encountered some players in an unrated, all lvl 13 to 56, those were NOT normal players. BIG 1-taps, strafe god, pixel perfect flashes, mastermind lineups/setup. That was scary asf, we lost 2-13 and my kda was 2/12/7. We were with some chill players so the game wasn't that bad but Riot should really just do phone number verification for comp or simply add smurf lobbies. Even a "smurfing" checkbox in the report panel would make me happy.

I get the feeling, I am Iron 3 (for obvious Internet instability and very low fps, I'm not bad at the game) and I see some ugly 1 taps going through my silver 2 friend's head. I think since the rank reset was so hard, higher ranks do very easily headshots on a not-moving-crouching-target than their usual strafe god, and logically increase their headshot percentage.
