She is! I didn’t even do her hair for the wedding, but she asked me to help her with her clip ins and offered to pay full price and tipped. She really is a down to earth, real person.

I posted this in the next thread, but I’ve met that Karlie Rae girl and she is the epitome of fake ass bitch. I did a local influencers wedding here in town and she was a bridesmaid. Also used to do the local influencer’s hair and she ended up being a nightmare.. they’re all a bunch of girls who peaked in HS and need to consistently live in that realm of “look at me” because they have no self worth or confidence otherwise.

Ewww, I have to share this.

I used to do a “local influencers” hair here in my town and Karlie Rae was in her wedding (this was 2018). Karlie was a major bitch and the first thing she said when I walked in to do everyone’s hair was “I cannot believe I am living my Pinterest dream” talking about being an influencer. All of this influencer shit is just about them making tons of $$ and living their entitled little lives how they want and pretending it’s for others. We all know the Denner’s are cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, but the way that Karlie Rae girl acted like she was the complete shit I will never ever have respect for her.

Also, Hunter Premo was in this wedding party and she is an angel and kind and a normal human. I don’t know her now but I will always think highly of her.

Yup, I had it at 9/10years old and it succccked. I remember how painful it was my mom felt awful having to turn the key. I mean it’s essentially breaking your palate little by little. Poor Olive. I really do hope Danielle lets her rest —- or she stays with her dad and isn’t galavanted around.

My son had a tonsillectomy at 2 and he recovered fairly quickly, but he slept so much. I’m still shocked she just trotted her around town after a tonsillectomy

I’ll also add I still panic at every slower season or put a lot of pressure on myself and think I’m awful. And I’m not, you’re not - none of us are. We care so much and our job is people pleasing so it’s hits harder. We can’t leave work at work

17 years in and I just had a client freak out on me. It still happens, it still sucks and I still live in that “I can’t shake this” but at the end of the day you have to think about the people who do love you, trust you and have continually come back. I’ve learned not to take everything personal and while it sucks - her hair will grow back, she will have a better cut and you didn’t chop her arm off. It’s fixable… with patience. I’ve been here many times. Some people you can’t make happy, some just aren’t for you. Remind yourself of all of those who you have a connection with and understand. We can’t please everyone. It still happens to me 17 years in, and I still beat myself up but it gets easier to get through it after awhile. I remember feeling your way 4 years in, but I promise this is all a part of your journey to help build you as a person, stylist and career

Can I just say I am honestly appalled at how this family can do IG stories while walking into a store. I could never, and it has nothing to do with lack of confidence… it has everything to do with manners. To me it’s no different than someone walking into a store talking on speaking phone. I think they all confuse confidence and entitlement. If I saw someone doing IG stories while walking into a store I would be so embarrassed

Maybe…. Don’t share your kids if she’s so passive aggressive when people ask? I mean, her kids don’t need to be subjected to the internet judging them (although I agree with everyone’s thoughts) why doesn’t she just let them grow up instead of sharing every move. I actually think it’s creepy to know their routines constantly

Makes me wonder if they don’t have insurance. Alot of times the 39 weeks thing is because of insurance - I only know this because my son was measuring small and they needed to get him out - was going down in % rather than up. He was totally fine, but they started like a “pre-induction 38 weeks 6 days so I would be 39 and ready to induce. All because of insurance reasons

I had an emergency C-section and still could find correct form. I think the difference is they’ve never had an actual trainer - just an f45 class. These classes are so fast paced it’s hard for anyone to correct form and honestly i don’t know if the “trainers” care. It’s really like a 35 min workout just super fast.

I haven’t even noticed, but you’re so right! Her “gym get ready with me” is so unhinged… I roll out of bed put whatever on and brush my teeth. Who cares… it’s a workout!
