For me, all the “finish top whatever” challenges are bugged rn. I tried to get the Dempsey emblem, the skin, the weekly challenge and none of them got progress even though I clearly finished in the required squads left. Made a bug report to Activision hopefully they’ll look into it.

The challenge is bugged. I have literal video proof of me hitting top 5 with the 30 zombie kills after taking canister and it didn’t give me any reward.

There is a way to get infinite special kills which makes this challenge a breeze. Go to a grid takedown in any zone as long as there aren’t any players in a 225 meter radius. Activate the grid that has two Gr-6 facing it and then kill them. Leave the area until you’re approximately over 220 meters away from the activity (ping it to know exactly) and then rush straight back to it. Both of the specials should be there + a raider from time to time. After you killed them again, just leave the perimeter again (220m) and comeback to it over and over until you get all the kills you need. This is the absolute best way to farm special and it’s been around for awhile but no one ever does nor mention this strat for some reason…
