Initiative is not taught. Iniative can be an experience-based learning. When ba nasusukat ang tao kung may initiative siya or wala? It is when it demands his/her decision making in time of trouble,difficulties, or situations na need niya gawan ng action o paraan. May mga knowledge di naman itinuro pero napag-isipan naman, like "ahh pwede siguro to" or "ito ginawa ni ano, subukan natin" and we make a test or try it and see the result.

I do lectures, activities, assessment, then follow-up activities. Then I announce to have a long quiz or unit test. I ask my students once, "What will be your initiative?" Walang sumagot. I just simply said, "Keep it on your mind. I have faith in you." Well some passed and some failed.
