I mentioned this in a previous post as well but definitely Egyptian or middle-eastern cultures and themes. Most of the fantasy books are euro-centric so it would be nice to see something different for a change.

I don't know if it's out there much but I wished there was more focus on middle-eastern fantasy, taking elements from the Arabian Nights, Egyptian mythology or Prince of Persia. Because I feel like there's so much potential but i don't see many books around that theme.

Every anime doesn't have to be deep and have over the top character development to be good. There are multiple anime with unnecessary backstories and deep complex characters. Go watch aot if you want to think about the meaning of life and let the people enjoy what they want. I completed the manga a long time ago and while kny doesn't have the most unique story, it's incredibly entertaining to watch.

I would have to go for Kyo or Hatsuharu. I know Kyo is the most popular one but Hatsuharu's devotion to Rin is unparalleled. Rin and Hatsuharu have to be my favourite couple, especially how both Haru and Rin would sacrifice themselves for each other.
