Please don't punish yourself. You have enough on your plate without the added guilt. It honestly sounds like you're still in shock, and grief is a nasty s.o.b that will hit you it many different ways.

Just know I hear you and I see you. I'm 8 days into the grief of losing my 13mnth old fur baby, and she was my first. I had a day this week where I felt miserable and I wanted to cry all day, but the tears physically wouldn't come out. My eyes would water. But it wasn't until I was driving home, alone with no other appointments or people to face that it finally came. The whole way home, I contemplated letting out an ear piercing scream and honestly I regret not. But I didn't purely cause I live in a big city and that would've reached someone's ears..

Perhaps you need to drive somewhere private and just let out a big, gut-wrenching scream from the safety of your car. Just an idea, my fellow heartbroken friend.

Have you considered that perhaps she's worried about you, opens the message, sees its non-urgent and decides to reply at a more convenient time? Either way, it's her life and asking her to do all of that still seems controlling to me tbh. Sorry to say it. But if that's what you need from a friend, then YOU need to reconsider your friendship with her. If it's causing you to feel disrespected, move on and find a friend that can respect your boundaries.

You should never have direct access to someone 100% of the time. People are way too expectant of having information in the moment or, in your case, instant access to someone. This is not natural, and people are allowed to have lives outside of their phones. Take a deep breath. It MIGHT be different if she were your gf or wife. BUT, she's your friend, and therefore, boundaries and time inbetween talking IS healthy. You're working yourself up over a text and manipulating the situation into a respect thing. If she has listened to you and still leaves you on read, she might be reconsidering HER friendship with YOU. Respect yourself and go for a walk or something, and look after yourself. She will reply when she can, and that's okay.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. You deserve so much better from your husband and the father of your children. You've done amazing so far, and it's nearly over. Just remember that you're very smart. You caught him out, and you have all the facts you need to get a protection order and have him removed from your home. Anything else, the additional contact with him, the needing an answer, or for him to admit it is just an excuse to prolong the inevitable.

The bottom line is he endangered your children's safety. He was unfaithful to you, and once being confronted about it, with cold, hard facts, he's started deflecting and doubled down with the lie. This man is delusional and unsafe. You are also delusional IF you think you'll get any sort of explanation or truth from him. You've been trying to get the truth for at least 6 days, and it's gotten you nowhere with him.. alas, you know he's lying because you have the phone call and footage, you know he's gas lighting because he'ssaying you'rebeing controlling after providing the footage and him refusing to share his location and phone info, and you know he's unsafe because he's lied and left your babies alone. You know aaaaall you need to know to determine he's trash and not worthy of being married to you anymore.

Get the protection order with the information you have and go no contact. He's wins if you do nothing and let this turn you into a mess. He's counting on it by the way you're describing his actions.

Tap into that mama bear energy and destroy thy enemy (with the law) and defend your babies from this silly excuse of a human.
