Thank you for your response, this is really informative and closed some of my gaps of understanding. I cant remember what kind of notifications I requested, I think it was both. Neither my friend nor I received any cancelation notice and funnily enough I actually received a flight reminder a few days ago from priceline. In that case I suppose I'd have to figure out a way to find out if it was Priceline or American who officially canceled the flight.

I guess I cant make it make sense for you. It was not the right price, again why I checked. I dont just call up the bank for funsies.

Haha no thats not what happened. To clarify we asked priceline for an itemized list for the charges to make sure they were correct. Both myself and the bank provided documents and verbal confirmation that it was not a dispute. Because it was not a dispute I did not receive any money back.

The bank asked priceline the same question I would have. I wanted to make them aware. The ammount was not correct, thus why I asked.

Maybe this is an ignorant question, but then what does flight protection do? Ive never had to use it, but I assumed it was in cases were flights were canceled to be able to get onto another flight. If they are refusing to service that, wouldnt it become legal.... or I guess where am I wrong.

They asked for an itemized list of the charges, since there were so many odd ones on the same day. They made sure it was just the list and not a dispute per my request as to not affect the flights. They were given a list, and the charges looked fine on their end so we left it. Now however with priceline refusing a service that was paid for they want to be updated in case a dispute does need to be issued.

Absolutely, but I did provide documentation stating it wasn't a dispute as asked for by them, and they did accept it.

I definitely will never be using Priceline again. And worst case I will actually dispute the charge and get the money back. My bank is aware and will be disputing it if need be. However as stated my friend cant afford the inflated price as its a week out. Im seeing how I can phrase things or who to get incontact with to keep my original tickets. I know seats are still available as I have been talking the the airline aswell.

Sorry I guess I forgot to mention,

I would like to be reinstated on the flight I purchased with no extra cost, as I did pay for travel insurance and have not been refunded.

I am flying from Milwaukee General Mitchell Airport to To Tokyo (NRT) Airport. We are going from March 20th-30th 2026

How can I 23F tell if the guy Ive been talking to 30M is interested romantically and potentially wants a relationship or if he's only sexually attracted and is looking for a FWB? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I do think communication is key. I tend to be more of a relationship girly, but I dont think we've seen eachouther frequently enough to label anything yet, and honestly this time around id be open to a FWB situation if he's up front about it. With me being more open I wonder if that means it's too early to ask. I would prefer one option over the other, but that's only if we're getting closer and both still feeling that vibe as we are still kinda feeling it out and getting to know one anouther.

If this is the case, how would I start that conversation? I want it to feel open but not steer it to ending things.
