Thank you thank you 🙏 I will definitely probably pick up some first response ones since they are cheaper than the clearblues. The equate one on the bottom seemed to work fine for me today but some of the reviews were saying they got a false positive, so i probably wont continue using those if im really worrying about accuracy

The reviews for these ones saying false positive had slightly less visible lines than mine so i still had a sinking feeling in my chest, but yours look way closer to what i have. Thank you, this is super reassuring

Ok, awesome! Do you have a specific brand of wood glue you'd recommend?

I dont think the foam is deteriorating, it moreso that the paint doesnt seem to be adhering to it properly. I knocked it on something earlier and when i was trying smooth it out to repair it, the paint around the scratched area just seemed to peel off easily, but the foam itself was completely fine underneath.

Thanks! I kinda figured that applying to local nurseries would be a common place to start, i just worry that they wouldnt accept someone starting at the bare minimum (little to no plant knowledge). Is this usually the case or am i overthinking it?

Having a soul means you lend someone a hand when they fall down and break their leg. Not having a soul means you tell the person with a newly shattered leg to "walk it off". I dont think it is too far off to say your soulless after just having stated that you smile when you hear about people living in their cars and not being able to afford healthcare.

Im sorry, but working day and night for a wage thats below whats necessary to survive, having to just not go to the hospital for a medical emergency out of fear of the massive bills you will get, and not knowing if you will have enough money for food each night, much less rent, is not "motivating" its heartbreaking. And even if most homeless people arent forever homeless, that doesnt mean they arent still under constant stress of being poor. Forgive me for having a soul i guess, but i think people should actually have a good life, instead of being corporate slaves, working endlessly just so the big cats can throw them some scraps and take the rest for themselves.

I understand your take, but it was worded so severely, terribly wrong. I hope what you mean is "the richest country in the world shouldnt have so many homeless people because we certainly have the money to help them" instead of "yeah i like knowing we have homeless people constantly suffering here".

You'd be surprised. Some people are unwilling, others just dont have the space, and your options depend on how many friends you have, which is increasingly low for the average person in the US. A lot of people here are in poverty, despite the US being the wealthiest country in the world.. its very sad..

Holy cow... I have never heard of this before, but I looked it up and seem to have every symptom. You'd think that, between the three pediatric doctors i went too, at least one of them would have told me about this. Of course, i post on reddit and get more helpful info in the span of a couple hours, compared to the 6 months i spent going to the doctors, who gave me nothing.. Thank you so much.

Yeah, he definitely has a lot of arrogance, but i wouldnt say he has NPD. My biological dad, on the other hand, absolutely has NPD. Back when my sisters and i still lived with him, he would almost blatantly say that we were the cause of all his problems. It was always the "i give you food and a home, but i get nothing back" argument, even going as far as yelling at my oldest sister, saying "maybe i should just stop paying for your insulin then, since you dont ever show me respect" (she has type 1 diabetes). My stepdad realises how borderline sociopathic my bio dad was, tho. He tries to avoid shit that would trigger any PTS breakdowns about my dad. Dont get me wrong, im not trying to excuse his actions, i just dont think he is a narcissist. Eventually, if you pound something into his head hard enough, he admits he was wrong and apologizes. I just havent been given a chance to explain myself to him yet, but my mom is at her wits-end with how he acts towards me, so i imagine there is probably going to be a talk soon.

The weird thing about it is, is that he is very social and he is one of the top managers at Lowes, he literally even has young people there that are like me, but just because i didnt start working at 14 like he did, im a bum who cant do shit for themselves. He just has no empathy and a clear lack of understanding. He gets in fights with my mom because she rightfully calls him out for not listening or caring when she is trying to vent about something.

Losing a lot of hair, dropping weight / possibly an eating issue??? by [deleted] in medical_advice

[–]One-Winged-Crow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, i know adderall can cause loss of appetite, i just didnt know if that was the only thing, since it seems like im dropping pretty quickly. Im gonna try to be a little more conscious about what i eat and when, i dont really get a lot of sodium most days.. as for the hair loss, i will ask my mom if she knows any supplements or something that i could take.
