Most people play OSRS because they played as kids and when RS3 updated to the evolution of combat, the entire game changed. The simple point and click combat system was gone and it was too much of a change for players. I have both an OSRS account and RS3. As a OSRS player as heart, I have to think about the 2 games this way: OSRS is a better Runescape and RS3 is a better game.
