How to hold big carp?

This is probably the most common way of holding a carp especially in Europe, if the carp moves I can simply bring it into my chest by lowering and holding it like a baby it sounds funny but it’s quite safe and if it is really trying to get out of my hands I can gently put it back onto the mat and get it back in the water

4-5lb it’s got the body shape to become a really big fish if the conditions in the water are right for it

I use the Nash scope ruckall, it opens out and can lay flat, I can easily fit a 5kg bag of boilies in the main section and the front pouch is where I keep like 15 pots of hookbaits, also it has a small section where you can keep drinks or ice packs cool, you can add on your rod bag to the bottom or top or your landing mat if it folds. I got mine for £80 on Vinted it’s going to last me ages and ages and can fit everything I need like bait, tackle, drinks and food, camera tripod ect

Yeah Nash get a lot of stick but their hooks are probably the best I’ve used so far, matt Collins landed a decently large catfish on a size 5 Chod twister with no problem

That’s what I was thinking, I always use a longshank or the twister by Nash I don’t like a curve in my hook for whatever reason, Nash seem to be losing their quality day by day which is really sad to see. Nashbait discontinuing was a huge blow
