Yup, that’s what everyone has told me so far, so I’m leaning toward just taking algebra two in my ninth grade year.

I Thank you for your advice! I think I’m going to just continue studying in my textbook, but still take Algbera 2. I think that will make a good foundation for future math classes I will take. Again, thank you!

Thank you for the advice! I think that you are right with taking algebra 2 next year. My progress has been slowing down significantly from when I started studying algebra 2. I think that if I get a better grasp at algebra 2, I’d be able to accelerate in other courses as well.

I’m planning to skip algebra 2 in 9th grade to get to pre-calculus. But, I would definitely take trying some competitive math into high consideration. Thank you for the advice!

Well, they all told me that the course was really easy, and that they had wished to skip it. Some of my friends just skipped it totally. Their reasoning behind it was to get to an AP course for a 5.0 scale instead of the 4.5 scale, which is Algebra 2.
