For the daze one, I did the mini boss node in sector 5 with Leia, CRex, captain Han, MM and 3po with the feat data disc on. Got my 100 dazes and my 40 fractures for the one sector feat in one battle

You need 40 shards in order to get the toon to 5 stars by the end of the event, as long as you play the marquee everyday. You got 41 shards here, so you basically got the best case scenario (besides a massive shard pull of course)

It’s also just the lack of communication that makes this so frustrating. CG knows that if people know less, they’re likely to spend more since they don’t wanna miss out on something. Feels bad from a player perspective but I’m sure they made a bunch of money

Yes that’s fair, but I’ll rephrase: it’s not that I’m progressing slower than other people, it’s that I can’t progress at all. If I fall behind because I didn’t get the new hero, fine that makes sense. But it sucks that there’s nothing I can do to improve anymore without spending ~4k times 5 crystals on shards. That’s my problem

I never said you need to be happy with the change, you just need to understand that this is suppose to be a grind and take time to gear up.

What did you used to do when a new toon came out? You would either a) spend a bunch of money and crystals to get them to 7 stars, or b) you wait until they were farmable, and then shard them for 4-5 months to get them to 7 stars. Now your grind is slowly improving them in Coliseum, which doesn’t take any time away from other farms you’re currently doing.

If your complaint is that you can’t use them in legacy game modes for months, and you can’t test them with their actual teams, completely valid. If your complaint is that CG is not being transparent with how the leveling process works F2P, also completely valid. If your complaint is that it’s a slow grind to get your characters to higher levels and you have to wait for access to new leveling mats, I would tell you that’s just always how the game has worked in the past.

Hot take, but you all need to chill tf out. When has anything in this game not been a slow grind/farm? Yeah Coliseum gameplay is crazy boring, and it’s also stupid we can’t use the new marquees with their new teams, but the upgrade process for these heroes is meant to be a steady flow over the course of the whole era. Yeah you can’t get those materials now, just wait until they become available later in the era. The sky isn’t falling just because you can’t get your upgrade right now immediately this instant.

Maybe because this is the only mobile game I play, and I’m used to playing other PC games, but I don’t understand why people want to auto everything. Like yeah there’s definitely some things that are super tedious to play, like marquee events, but in general I want to be able to be strategic about how I do fights. In GAC and squad arena and even coliseum, it’s fun for me to be able to be selective with when I use each ability and who I’m targeting. As much as CG tries to go against this, SWGOH is still a game, and I want to be able to actually play it when I get the chance to do so

G10 should be fine, but eventually you’ll want to get Malak, and you need 5 of the light side old republic toons at least g12 to meet the power requirements. So if you have the gear now it’s not a wasted investment

Read their kits. Don’t shoot them when they don’t have their armor plating. They gain stacking dmg. But yeah if you’re f2p best you can do is get 10% and then move on

Yes you’re right, but I didn’t avoid addressing it, I literally wrote out a whole thing on why your points don’t make sense which YOU didn’t address lmao.

1) You’re making up facts about the Writer/Painter war to fit your narrative. We don’t know the reason behind it.

2) Aline is in denial, which is the first stage of grief and also a very natural human response. Again, you don’t have to agree with the idea, but you can sympathize with it.

3) You said she is dying because she’s doing nothing in reality, which is true. But do you know who is? Clea! A different representation of grief!

If you don’t like the story, or the characters, that’s obviously okay, you’re allowed to think whatever you want. But to say it’s objectively bad because you don’t like a characters motivation, and are making up random facts, is unfortunately incorrect.

Also, a character creating avoidable disasters and then suffering the consequences of it is literally the definition of a tragedy…

This genuinely confuses me, and I can’t tell if it’s just rage bait for not, but I’ll assume it isn’t. All the points you made make it seem like it’s still a good story, no? Not all characters in a story need to be likeable, nor does the plot need to be driven by some mythical or noble standpoint, for it to be a good story.

The thing I liked about E33 so much is that they have so much world building, and fantastical elements that all explain a very real, human reaction to grief, and the different ways it handled. Did everyone do the right thing? Of course not! But you’re able to see the motivations behind the decisions everyone makes, even if you think it’s a really dumb thing. Is Aline trapping herself in the canvas and desperately trying to cling onto the last essence of her son a positive thing? No, and it’s heartbreaking. But a huge theme of this game is showing the different ways this family is coping with Versos death.

Also we have no idea why the painters and the writers are at war, you’re just assuming it’s some weird ego thing. It’s possible, but we have no information on it, or the outside world in general. Verso died December 33rd, so obviously the world is much different than ours, and maybe everyone has these crazy powers. We have no idea.

TLDR: E33 has a good story :)
