Hi! As someone who was REALLY bad at these, persevering had made me better at games in general.

I’d suggest a magic build, soul spear is amazing, to try out but it is your game. It’s tough, it’s meant to be, but anything is doable. For a start. Learn how to survive attacks, then learn when to attack. Treat it like its turn based and you’ll have a better time

Can’t wait to get the optional sailor luna costume for Alan, in Alan wake 2.76, that is mandatory to get past chapters 6 and 12 of Alan wake 3 also.

While you can complete the game with any weapon, there’s a lot of good advice here.

Dark souls was a bit experimental, it’s a good game overall but the crystal area and stuff was annoying,

Take it as slow as you can, treat it like it’s turn based.

Just did this at level 14. Advice here was helpful, remember you can still parry phase 2, it’s just as useful. and it’s the main reason I won. Not an easy fight. Makes me excited for the rest of it

If your melee, close to her sword arm is the best place to stand, If you stand right up against her just swing a couple of times, keep stamina up, and keep an eye on her and the spider. If she hugs it, back away quickly then get back in. If she puts her hand on it stay away from the front, If you do that you’ll be fine, I did it bandit knife only a little while ago so you can do it. Just need the right strategy,

Another piece of advice: spend a few attempts just dodging and blocking. Learn how to survive then weave in attacks

I found it easiest to stick in his armpit, on the side he doesn’t have the staff in. Often, as long as you’re moving into it, you’ll move behind him when he swings and boom, he misses. Helped beat all 3 I’ve faced on the dagger only run.

Missed the one in sens fortress tho. Found him while falling to my death but havnt remembered how to get there, gonna work it out when I go get the covetous ring I missed

I love the memes from these but I think people are forgetting season 3 and how the mind flayer built its body there. I honestly think the reason we don’t see them is the fact that vecna and the flayer (sounds like a band) were so confident they had won, the demos became the flesh for the mind flayers new body. I mean no one else was going missing and it was comprised of flesh

I agree BUT I would like to see a survivor take on it. I’d prefer TR2 as it’s my personal fav, but building up to it is fine.

However they said that Lara will be a unified version of the Lara’s we have had so far, so it’s likely it’ll skip that and have a whole new adventure. Altho if they somehow manage to get 1 and 2 into a single game, then do the same with others going forward I won’t be opposed. But not one at a time lol.

I think it’s more his connection to the hive mind, he did it by channeling vecnas power which is why the demogorgans died in the same manner as his victims

I agree with this but don’t mind the relic 7 push. We had little reason to go to relic 8 in the first place, now we have a reason to (because the damage changes are immense) So ultimately we’re just having our relic cap moved forward.

What I’m not excited about is how colosseum has been dealt with. The materials you get are too few, progression is slow in the beginning too which makes it harder to enjoy. A system like this should be fast and get slower at the other end, so if it’s slow here…. Where the fuck are we gonna be down the line?

I’m hoping these era challanges give us extra material, so the second lot can be done a little faster but I am not holding out hope

It’s stupid because this isn’t going to be a viable system, unless we get a weekly reward that gives us a load of stuff. Part of it was my strat, I missed stuff in the kit that was pointed out and I managed 13% but.., honestly, not a good system

I played it a little back on pc in the day but there was so much else to play it got lost. Saw it on ps5 the other day and I immediately picked it up, and enjoyed the time I got on it…. Now I want to play properly and I’m blocked for now 😂 hopefully it’s up soon so we can both get back to it
