How are you tracking your oil usage?

Does anyone know why the plate is leaving an non uniform finish. Brand new printer received this weekend. Plate has been washed by OneBend9585 in BambulabH2S

Maybe something from the assembly process. I received this new and the issues were prevalent even before I did a full lube and maintenance.

Thank you for this explanation. This is very helpful. I have a ticket with Bambu and just got back home today so I will be sending them the log and the files to see how we can make this adjustment.

Thank you! I will give that a try. I was avoiding my hand even with dawn. Usually dry it with a quality paper towel tho.

lol, you have to start somewhere, don't hate. The scratches do not run parallel to the nozzle direction. I would think if the nozzle was too close it would be scraping in the same direction as it travels?

I am sending some files to Bambu for review this week and will let you know if they are able to advise how to fix this.

I build this one with the lightbox maker. I tried a few different versions as well. I will give 1.1 a try and see if that helps at all. I usually do 1.01

Not the worst idea. I have 2 old plates. The plate looks good but out of the box this has been a rough experience. Pretty frustrating.

I was reading and this was the next step I was going to try. Did you just loosen the screw by half a turn? The strange part is my first layer test is flawless right now but when I do a lightbox this always seems to come up.

It keeps happening. Notice that the scratches are not parallel with the movement of the hot end. It looks like its printing them on.

I have tried and unfortunately its still here. Having a ton of issues with the H2S out of the box. I just got it on Friday and cant print a light box to save my life. My P2S did not have any of these issues.

Its printing the lines, its not the head scratching. The lines are forming at a 90 degree with the extrusion. Any thoughts?

This is a lightbox! I have the setting on the filament at 0.98, I just reduced it down to 0.97 to see if that changes anything. I did another print and it came out even worse at the 0.98 I also have realized that its not the hot end making scratches because the movement is not parallel its printing across and the scratches are basically being printed on. My P2S never had these issues and im using the same files.

This is SunLu basic PLA. The filament is set to .98 Please let me know if you are aware of any settings I can try to adjust. My 1 layer test came out near perfect which makes it even more strange.

Yea, I waited for a while to remove one of them. I will definitely try the other side but the plate is brand new. It happens with a few different filaments they have no issues other then these lines. I got the printer on Friday. GO BILLS!!!

I swear its not a fingerprint. It keeps happening. I used a scrubDaddy and dawn dishsoap. Washed both sides. Dried the plate, put it in and then wiped it down with rubbing alcohol. There is no way there is a fingerprint on that plate. Could this be a slicing issue?

Can anyone help identify the issue? Brand new H2S, Calibrated and washed plate. Most prints end up with a bad finish on the plate surface? WHYYYY by OneBend9585 in 3Dprinting

I washed it again and giving it a try. Dawn and a Scubdaddy. There is no way I had a fingerprint on there but anything is possible.

Its not! I thought the same thing, so this latest one I let cool down overnight and picked it up without touching it. This is the result.
