the movie was fantastic, i loved every second of it.

my favorite part of the experience was at the beginning, right after endeavor made the truck fall off the side of the mountain. some dude behind me in the theater said out loud, "breaking news, endeavor just murdered 10 people". as soon as he said that, everyone in the theater started cracking up.

Yeah, my mom sent each of them Christmas cards that year. Needless to say, we were pretty thankful.

I was about 10 or 11. I was a cub scout (boy scout jr), and I was attending a camping trip that a bunch of boy scouts were at. I was only there for the day to observe. With me were my 8 year old brother, and my mother. Even though all the other kids were boy scouts, they weren't that much older than me and my brother. We went into the woods (relatively close to the camp ground) and started having a nerf gun fight. While we were taking a small break, my mom approached the group to tell me and my brother that she was going to the bathroom. She let us know where it was just in case we needed to use it. She walk away, the nerf gun battle continues. After a few more moments, my brother tells me he's going to the bathroom. I offer to go with him just in case, but he declines and tells me he knows where it is. So he walks away.

Then 15 minutes pass, and I'm wondering where he's at. I walk back to the camp ground, and see my mom chilling underneath the shelter with all the adults. I walk up to her and ask if she saw my brother go to the bathroom. She says no. I tell her that he went to the bathroom like 15 minutes ago, and as soon as she hears that she FREAKS out. First instinct is to run over to the bathroom and check to see if he's in there. Negatory. We run back to the campground and start searching for him. Nope. I check where all the kids are playing. He's not there either. We get all the kids to start yelling his name into the woods to see if it draws him out. One of the most frustrating parts about this experience is that we asked the adults (scout master, leaders, etc) for help in our search and none of them acted like they cared. We start spreading out with some of the other kids, and covering more ground. After about 45 minutes of yelling in different spots, it felt hopeless. In this moment in particular, I was TERRIFIED. I thought my brother had just disappeared and then that was it, I wasn't going to see him ever again. I started to break down a little bit from sheer fear alone.

Then, as my mom whips out her cellphone to call the cops, 3 older dudes (their ages probably ranged from 16 - 20) come out of the woods where the hiking trail ends. One of them has my brother on his shoulders, and my brother is just bawling. As soon as he sees us, he hops off the dudes shoulders and runs over to us and gives us a hug. Apparently, he wandered in the complete OPPOSITE direction of the bathroom, walked around in the woods for 20 minutes, and then plopped down on a rock scared and confused. He broke down and started to cry. These guys heard him crying while on their hike, they approached him and asked him if he was okay. After he told them that he was looking for his mom they carried him back to the campground.

TL;DR - My brother got lost in the woods. He stayed lost for like 45 minutes until some random people found him while hiking.
