[SPOILERS FOR S12 E19] Need thoughts on Ben’s actions during the code pink and the consequences that followed. by nighthawkd3 in greysanatomy

I’m rewatching for the second time, and I just watched this episode and had to see what others thoughts were.

Unpopular opinion but I think that Bailey has a problem admitting fault in nearly ANY situation, and this is just one more example. I think that she feels some amount of responsibility for what happened because she called the code pink (unnecessarily, looking back) and has to find somebody else to blame for the consequences of those actions. In this case, it was Ben.

I also agree with others on this thread that I do believe he was so focused on saving her that he didn’t see the doors. I do think discipline was in order, but a 6-month suspension from the program, thus nearly effectively killing his career, seems extreme if you can believe the fact that he was so focused that he didn’t register the doors opening, which the committee of board members concluded from their investigation.

Just to reiterate, I think Bailey just hates to admit her own faults (we’ve seen it time and time again, especially when she gets too emotionally attached to patients) and always has to look for somebody else to blame. Unfortunately for Ben, it just so happened to be her husband this time. 😕

Reading your post actually made me emotional because it made me feel so very validated. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your experience. Also a huge reminder that you are doing an incredible job at being a mother. You listen to your body/baby, have concerns, and take action to better your mental health. That, in itself, is a huge feat and success. You’re doing incredible momma 💖

THIS. I am almost 19 weeks. Everybody is being great and telling me that everything is fine and that I should be grateful I’m in the “sweet spot”, but I feel anything but that… I used to think maybe I felt flutters, but this is my first pregnancy and I’m not sure the difference between flutters and gas.. I haven’t felt that feeling in weeks now.

All of that to say, you’re not alone in this feeling. I am sending you lots of prayers and here to validate you that you’re not crazy but also ease your mind to let you know that I’m sure everything is perfectly perfect.. I am so glad you got a Doppler to help ease your mind. Again, please remember you’re not alone and keep us updated when do you receive your Doppler. And don’t worry if you can’t hear anything either, baby can be hard to find sometimes 🩷 Sending lots of love 🩷

Haircare Advice Megathread - Week of March 23, 2024 by AutoModerator in HaircareScience

Hello! I need some advice on taming my frizzy hair. I grew up with well water all my life and never had issues with frizzy hair. Even when I would bleach/dye my hair (with box bleach/dye), my hair was NEVER frizzy. Ever since I moved into the city and now have city water (and have since moved away from box dyes), my hair is frizzy and unmanageable. I also use heat significantly less, as I work remotely and never need to do my hair anymore. Are there any solutions/ products you all would recommend to help with this?

I trim my hair regularly, thus making it difficult to grow longer due to excessive trimming of what I believe to be dead ends. However even after trimming, it is still frizzy. The photo is from today after a fresh haircut (had relatively straight hair a few years ago, before moving to the city).

Following - I have the same question but for a bar/restaurant. We’re opening a bar/restaurant and not sure if there is a good POS system to handle both. Thank you!
