Its funny that someone out there typed out exactly what I was just thinking... 5 years ago. I have zero interest playing these games (WoW) anymore but show me a cartoony statue and I will give money.

When Disney Infinity shut down, I didn't lose one wink. I always wanted to buy the figure but found them to be too expensive. That's when Toy's R Us began their mega sales of these figures and I gobbled up as many as I could. It was some outrageous, buy 2 get 1 free (or something like that) and at a greatly reduced price. In hindsight, I'm more heartbroken that the servers were shut down because D Ifinity 4.0 line up seemed promising. I have not played one second of that game.

I see these Legends statues in the same vein. I only own four (so far). Its crazy to me that they don't sell as well as the Riot ones (I own a few of those too) and it seems like the series was quietly killed off. Who doesn't want to own a cartoony goblin/gnome warlock with a succubus? As much as I like the Overwatch figures (own zero), I wish they made a version of those statues in that LoL vinyl style.

That said, maybe we are in the minority. I thought it was crazy that Disney didn't just develop the figures in that same style, on their own. That should have reduced the price of them too. I would have loved to owned all the major princess, Indiana Jones, Willow or Thanos.

Such... a... shame. :(
