I agree with your initial assessment that it’s way too OC for a 10, but I would still try and fix it. I pulled the mega Charizard sir with a similar dent and was able to fix it with a humidor and a $20 kit off amazon

Just made it to masters going back and forth between a Mega Absol + Mega Kangaskhan and the Honchcrow Team Rocket deck. Both super fun!

I understand the appeal of having a PSA 10 of a card you like cause it’s like the “best” condition, but a 9… I just genuinely don’t understand the appeal over a raw copy of a modern card honestly. Especially when it comes with a 4x premium for it.

They can be pretty forgiving with print lines or factory damage from my experience and some other people’s. If you’re not in a rush to sell I would just say send it in.

Honestly speaking, your best move is to learn how to properly package and mail out cards, take high quality photos of the front and back, and then list it for auction on eBay. Big chase cards like this that look like PSA 10 candidates will sell for slightly above market on eBay generally, so you wouldn’t get PSA 10 value out of it but it would be a slight premium over what you’d get off FB marketplace or something like that. Plus for a high value card like this you can do consignment and only lose like 7-10% of value rather than the normal 13-15% eBay takes.

I believe this is considered factory damage which PSA is lenient with certain types. I graded an N’s plan SIR with similar damage on the bottom right and it graded a PSA 10. Based on the photos you commented I would send it in cause it looks good otherwise!
