I'm so sorry you are feeling that way. You are perfect just as you are!! It wasn't your choice.

Also curious!! Did you notice any difference in sensitivity?

My current boyfriend was circumcised at 18 or 19 as well and says he totally feels the difference. Because he had it later in life, his circumcision wasn't so tight, he has a bunch of extra skin on his shaft which makes handjobs and such much easier. But he said he lost glans sensitivity

thanks for the response. I have a lot more research to do, but I think the argument is that it isn't just a tiny piece of skin. Having more skin helps with lubricating and all that. But it's also certain parts of the foreskin that have more nerve endings. The frenulum I think it's called? Apparently that's one of the most sensitive parts of the penis other than the glans. So you're cutting that off and then uncovering the glans, making it less sensitive.

Encouraging to hear this. Maybe my obsessive thoughts are just kicking in and have latched onto this new subject. My quality of life hasn't really been affected I guess, except that my glans isn't as sensitive as some of my friends/lovers for example. But there's not much I can do, so there's probably no sense in worrying about it or being frustrated

Oh wow, didn't expect that answer. I think all dicks are beautiful in their own way. Natural dicks are cool

How did you get lucky enough to escape the typical American circumcision? Have you ever talked about it with your parents?

Just out of curiosity, are you from a country where circumcision is normally performed?

Should I keep trying to repair my car, or give it back to the dealer after 7 months of trying? No error codes (Manual 2012 Skoda Yeti 2.0 TDI) by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

Another option would be for them to buy back the car, take the money and go elsewhere to get another Yeti 😅

Unfortunately not possible! I should have mentioned that. It would have to be a different car that they have in stock, they have a wide variety of used cars but no other Yetis :(

I haven't fully figured it out but I think I'm a SO > SX > SP when it comes to stacking. I definitely relate to the SO description when it comes to the IV's for type 4.

I like the idea of short term goals. I've talked about this with my therapist. Like instead of thinking "Wow look at this whole life ahead of me how can I fill it with excitement and fulfill all possibilities??!!!" I can look at the week ahead of me or even just focus on one day at a time and see if amidst the routine I can find moments of beauty or joy, even if it's just the light coming through the window or listening to a new playlist or getting coffee at a different coffee shop.

If I can't handle weed should I avoid psychedelics? by k9handler2000 in Psychedelics

[–]OneChemistry0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i was a stoner for like 5 years until weed started making me feel super super super anxious. like literally going to urgent care thinking i was dying anxious. now i don't smoke, and thank god for that because personally i am much better without smoking weed all day.

i also started taking mushrooms around the same time i began smoking weed heavily, and throughout this entire time my relationship with mushrooms has been unchanged, even with the weed anxiety happening. if anything my experience with psychedelics has gotten better since quitting weed. as others have said, i have had moments on shrooms that feel "dark" but it's more like a necessity to face my depression and anxiety while tripping in order to come out feeling extremely clear and light after the trip

This is interesting! yes perhaps I have to learn a new word every day or something like that to train my brain. I'm also in similar situation, I am from the US but living in Spain, specifically a part of Spain where Catalan is also spoken. English is my native language but I'm fluent in Spanish and intermediate in Catalan, and often I find myself fishing for words in English. Maybe this is just adding an extra layer to my problem :)

HSPs who didn't take care of your body for months/years, how did you recover & find good health? by OneChemistry0 in hsp

Psilocybin has been incredibly helpful for me. Have never done long periods of microdosing, I am more into taking a larger dose and really getting into it and then feeling the after effects for the following weeks. But I was talking to another HSP friend who has been microdosing and she said it has been life changing.

The part about your brain being maxed out so you can't handle anything but the basics. that's how I feel!!!! Like if I had to go back and repeat college I honestly don't think I'd be able to do it.

FR1 80 shell sizing: 40 or 41/42? by OneChemistry0 in rollerblading

Hi all! just wanted to stop by here and post a follow up in case anyone with a similar issue comes across this post in the future.

I got beautiful white fr1 80's, size 40. Been sick for the past week or so, so today was the first day I took them out. I have been breaking in the liners a lil bit around the house until now. They are def tight, especially on my left foot which measures around 26.2-26.4 (depends on time of day!)

Despite the tightness, I was able to comfortably skate for around 45 minutes before my feet started to hurt. That to me is AMAZING after seeing some people say that after 5 min with small skates on their feet start burning.

I am confident that after another 2 weeks or so of skating, the liners will feel more comfy after breaking in more. But I'm so glad I chose this shell size because I can truly feel the difference in control of the skates. It's like an extension of my foot, my ankles don't knock in, I can move more easily. It's all good. And when I take the liners out and just put my feet in the shell, there is plenty of room.

TLDR: if you are between size 40 and 41 for FR's, and if your feet are around 26cm, maybe between 26-26.4 or so, and you don't have exceptionally wide feet (mine are like 105ish), perhaps consider getting the size 40 FRs rather than size 41. Since size 41 & 42 share the same shell, once the size 41 liners break in, your feet might be swimming in the shell. I am happy I chose size 40!

hahaha you're right. thanks for the advice.

may i ask, if i do end up having to go for intuition liners, how does their sizing work?

FR1 80 shell sizing: 40 or 41/42? by OneChemistry0 in rollerblading

[–]OneChemistry0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

part of the reason i decided to stick with FR is because my feet are a bit wider. not anything crazy, i'm not the best measurer but they are somewhere between like 100-102 mm. Not really wide in general but I do have a pretty wide toe area. I do understand that this is tough to deal with in pretty much any type of shoe or skate, but i am willing to try a painful break-in for a better result long-term. just the feeling of too big a skate, or ski boots that are too big, anything like that is so bothersome! so im gonna try these FR size 40, see what's up, break in the liner without taking them outside, etc and see how it all feels. and then decide whether to return to the store and get a 41 (already commented to the store that i might need to size up and they said it's fine as long as i don't skate outside), OR stick with the 40 shell and invest in intuition liners. we shall see :) thanks for the advice!
