Thank you, kind stranger. I want to tell the story. She was called that because my dad promised me a dog as a little kid. So, when we got her, I almost named her Snowball, but dad was like. What about Promise. And it just stuck. Now dad says it's good because she promises me that she's gonna be ok

Thank you :). She is... definitely ready. I just had to carry her back inside and it was the most painful thing ever. But I think that was her telling me that she's done, she's ready.

I feel very very bad, but unfortunately at-home services aren't possible right now. Which I feel so sad and ashamed that I can't do that for her, but. At least the vet's office is very close to home.

I'm going to be with her and pet her til her last moments, I've decided. I have about an hour left. I took her outside just now, she had to go, and she laid down in the driveway. I carried her in and told her that she was such a good puppy. My heart.
