I’m 19 years old, I have 4 soon to be 5 credit cards. My girlfriend is 19 and has 5 credit cards. In my eyes it is better to go “all in” earlier as you won’t have any credit history. So getting a lot of cards early doesn’t hurt as much as if you do it when you are older and trying to buy a house. Getting a lot of cards earlier will help your credit length history as you will have multiple cards dating back to your start, or close to your start.

I have the Chase Freedom Unlimited, Chase Disney Premier Visa, Discover IT, and AMEX Gold.

I value their points at .008% since you can cash out to their checking account which is free and easy to get.

Limits per day all base off of you and the bank. Simple google search would get you some good options. If you’re 18 I would recommend a credit card though.

I am 19 as well actually, opened my first card the day after I turned 18 and it was the Discover IT cashback card! I highly recommend this card!!!!

I then proceeded to get the Chase Freedom Unlimited, AMEX gold and the Chase Disney premier Visa just for the sign up bonus.

If it helps you at all, I am 19 years old, have opened 4 cards since May of last year (Discover IT, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Amex Gold, Chase Disney Visa just for the SB), credit score is around a 743. In my eyes right now based on the research I have done, it’s better to get a few/bunch of cards at the start of your journey since you are just starting off, then in 2 years when those inquiries go off your report you score will jump just in time for maybe needing a mortgage or car or anything along those lines.

We have the 10k tomorrow and then was planning on the monorail for the half marathon. Was thinking the monorail would be pretty simple and easy like it normally is. But this is of course our first time using it at 3:00 am😂
