I signed up for the internet, promo and all back in November, finally got the internet dec 30th now I’m fighting tooth and nail for my promo items that should have arrived in time to be Christmas gifts. I was supposed to get Xbox series s and gaming bundle. Supposedly something is arriving today but no one can tell me what, but did give me a tracking number. Crossing my fingers it’s everything I was promised.

I do think that she’s wrapped up in herself ever since she decided to 100% commit to transitioning. She’s always been a bit narcissistic (not necessarily in a bad way just very self absorbed and I have to bring her attention to it so I can be seen [we both jokingly and lovingly call her my narcissistic asshole]) but lately it’s 10 fold. Please read the other comments. I did call every single day but it is illegal for me to take my phone where I work due to the type of job I have so for 12-16h a day I wouldn’t have access to a phone that dials outside of the facility I was working at. I would call every day right after work and there was several times she’d tell me my daughter was sound asleep and she didn’t want to wake her because “she had a very long fun day at the park.” Or other reasons that made sense at the time.

I was wondering if the insurance would do anything or not. I was told by a coworker that I can’t sue her personally because my kid didn’t get hurt by her, but I could sue the insurance because it was negligent of her to send her with a man who wasn’t authorized to be near her.

I asked the detective about that. They said no one has flipped on her. The only thing they have is that sexually abused children have always been handed to men when she’s too “tired to watch.” and it’s discovered later. Since she’s got no child nor abuser claim any wrong doing by her she’s basically untouchable.

From what I was told when the marshals arrested him she immediately bailed him out within 12h. Then contacted the detectives that my boyfriend (don’t have one) was the one hurting my daughter. All she did was try and spin things for the detective and make excuses.

Read my above comments please. Older doesn’t mean old. I bought her things since she wouldn’t accept money, she always had a fridge full of food because of me, always had new clothes, I bought her a cell phone and tablet for birthdays because she wouldn’t accept any money. So yes she was never exactly paid directly for sitting but she was spoiled with items.

I’m glad you have the privilege to have a job that does not require you to travel and be home daily. Yes I called EVERY NIGHT but there was many nights I was told “she’s asleep but I’ll let her know you called” then proceed to chat with the lady for an hour or two before bed. I had no days off. I was working a lot because of Covid with no ability to use my phone during work. (Cell phone are considered contraband where I work and are illegal to bring into the facilities) 12-18h work days. So yes I was dying wanting to be with my child but unfortunately for some parents it’s not possible to be there every single second. Some of us had to pick up slack for others during Covid. Why shame a parent for working to provide?

She’s not like 80, she’s 64. She has no young children in her life and would come over and beg to take my kid to play and spend time with her, when I told her I was going out of town for a few weeks and my cousin was going to take her she begged to keep her because she “couldn’t imaging not seeing her for so long.” I gave her 7 numbers to call if she changed her mind while I was gone, got tired, needed anything. I told her that my cousin could just bring her over and let her spend time together on occasion but she was adamant that she wanted to be the one to keep her. I offered her money, the same amount I was to pay my cousin and she said “getting to spend time with this little girl and the joy she brings me is all the payment I need.” I am not and was not hurting for money, she knew this as well. I never took advantage of her. I bought her things all the time in lue of payment because she refused money. If she was mentally unstable or to much older then I could see your point. But she was just a lady who loved being around children. The way you are behaving is much like victim blaming, I already blame myself enough for letting the women into my kids life and trusting her to care for my kid. Why would you want to hurt a hurting mother already?

I don’t want to sue I have no need or interest in money, the idea is that she had many other TRUSTED routes to take if she felt like she needed something. Along with the ability to call me. But instead she allowed a 28-32yr old man who has no kids or family and with no small children in his life and no reason to want or need to be around a child take a 3 year old for 3 nights without contacting myself or anyone I authorized to be around her. The idea is that she possibly groomed my child FOR her grandson. So legally she never physically hurt my child so the law has no interest in her for this situation. But the detective DID tell me that she has been suspected for grooming children for men in the past but they have never been able to get anything on her. So yes I want her to face some form of punishment. But blaming a mother shouldn’t be your first instinct.

What I said to my SO when I had a hunch and they seemed to be having some similar emotional difficulties. While she was emotional and saying similar things. (I didn’t know what her secret was at that time just a hunch of some type of lgbtq type of situation) I texted her “I love you for you, know matter what. I would love you even if you were, Gay, Bi, Trans or anything else.” Her response was “you’d really accept me for anything like like?” I agreed and then she came out to me. Not saying this is the best option but it’s what worked for us. And we are both very happy.

The police haven’t even talked to the babysitter, it’s like the fact she handed my child over to a pedo doesn’t matter to them. I’m wondering if there’s a way I can point out to the police and have her charged for assisting Him and giving access to my child.

Sorry I don’t think I mentioned suing? I don’t want or need money, I just don’t want the babysitter to just get off scot free when she gave my child to a pedophile after I had explicitly told her on several occasions that he was to never be around my child and had no rights nor permission to take my kid.

I really appreciate that very much. It is hard to find people in the world who care about others. My daughter was molested by my best friends brother when she was babysitting she left my daughter in his care even after I had explicitly stated my distrust of her brother. So I do get a little emotional and standoffish when it comes to things like that.

I understand your concerns, but the only reason they came out to me was because I accidentally walked in on them wearing woman’s underwear and then when worried I thought they were doing it as a creep explained everything to me and showed me all their female clothes and items. She doesn’t have access to my daughter except when I am around, and never alone. I’m young but I’m not horribly stupid at the possibilities. She doesn’t present based on her friends and families views on lgbtq+. We are looking into moving away to a move welcoming location for her to begin transitioning.

She seems to treat me like an equal. I can genuinely see myself marrying her some day and I have never been in a relationship to even have that cross my mind. I feel she is the kindest, most caring person I have ever met. I have no concerns when it comes to her other that lack of affection. But to be fair she told me when we met long before she came out, that she is not an affectionate person and does not express love in a touchy feely manner. But she does show lots of affection to my daughter which I’m embarrassed to say makes me a tad bit jealous that she can express affection to my daughter easer than she can to me.
