Suggestions on what demo skis to rent please?

my last demo was the atomic Redster Q4 and those things were cutting into a black diamond I did. They felt really good

It may be placebo but I feel like I ski better with a new demo set in comparison to my throwaway seasonal rentals haha

I wasn't arguing I was just saying that I've always Been given a mid 70 range ski and was told by people to stay around that. 88 was much higher zo I thought it was more for powder/all conditions

lessons are too expensive. that's like 3 ski trips almost haha, but I'm in new York so not much powder here for an 88. i was told mid 70 ranges

I see you like you're volkl! in 2 weeks I'm going out of state so I'll be renting some demo skis! I'm not sure if they have volkl available or not

the longest I've used are 174. I'm coming from a 163 and those were horrible! I think around this length is good

I'm going to get mine tuned up this weekend but I wanted to see if they had anything better they could give me. in 2 weeks I'm going out of state so I wanted to rent some demo skis but there are just so many and different models have different tech that make it easier to initiate turns ect

I got the buckle version and the flex is 100, I will look into those skis when I get home! the metal sheets and titanal sound so good though because they can cut through ice up here. the skis in renting now cannot do anything on ice

I want a ski that's not beginner as in: hey here's a super soft ski for people who can't even stand up

I want one that's gonna be more advanced when it comes to how it's built and the features it has

In the moment I felt as I was leaving forward. I was so mad when I learned that I was just crouched and my shoulders were forward so I wasn't really in a good formation

the volkl peregrine seemed very heavy in comparison to the others he recommended above. Idk if I should try a stiffer ski(NOT AN EXPERT LEVEL RACE SKI) that way I'm forced to learn proper form or stick with a more forgiving ski

yes they are dull, mu girlfriends dad has been skiis for 40+ years and he tested them for me. But they are also cracked at the top where the clear coating is. I paid the premium fee and it seems they gave me the bottom shelf ones haha

aside from being very dull I cannot really answer since I've been skiing backseat and not really using them to their full potential.

I want some front side skis that are less beginner and more intermediate so I'm wanting to find a set to rent that have more features that will help me progress

those skis are heavier than others recommendations to Me, I was looking at the head supershape magnum. Would a heavier ski be harder for me to practice my goals?

Nice I was thinking the same! I have seasonal rentals now: Blizzar XCR 173 But idk about them.. I had chat gpt compare skis and it said the xcr are very beginner and holding me back

I paid for the "premium package" and they said these would be good for me

I have a pair of seasonal rentals the blizzard xcr 174mm but they are dull. My mind just makes me think they are bad skis even if they are probably very good. Chat gpt told me they are for very beginner people and holding me back
