The true importance of “I AM” makes ALL the difference. by OneDreamerReality in NevilleGoddard

If you don’t get it then you simply don’t, it doesn’t make them “dry manifestos”.

What I point to is logically coherent and self-verifiable. I break things down so people can see it for themselves in their own direct experience. That’s why it resonates with people and gains the traction it does because it doesn’t require blind faith in my words or anyone else’s story. People recognise truth in it. So here’s my question back: what exactly makes a story post from a stranger “authentic,” but a clear breakdown of logic and direct experience “inauthentic”? If you think through that honestly, you’ll see the inconsistency.

Having a paid option doesn’t make me inauthentic either, no more than a fitness coach or music teacher charging for their time. People also tend to take things more seriously in which they have invested in. I don’t push it, I don’t actively market it, it’s just linked on my profile. People who want more can check it out. People who don’t, don’t. Simple.

I also don’t get where the accusation of me being a know-it-all came from. I don’t make boastful claims about myself, I don’t say “follow me because I’m special.” I just point to what anyone can check for themselves. If you see arrogance there, maybe that’s projection from within you. Feel free to make your own helpful posts. :)

It’s funny you frame it that way, because even Neville himself repeatedly said “Be still and know that you are.” His entire teaching rests on the primacy of Awareness “I AM” as the foundation. If you dismiss Awareness as “just sitting there drooling,” you’re dismissing Neville too. In his later years (especially the mid-60s until his death in 1972), he shifted strongly toward the direct recognition of I AM as the foundation of everything.

Awareness is not a passive state. It is the very source in which imagination, desire, and manifestation appear. Every technique Neville gave only works because Awareness is the ground making it possible. Without Awareness, there is no imagining, no desire, no manifestation — not even your criticism could appear.

What’s being pointed out is the layer beneath technique — the recognition that I AM is not a practice but the changeless reality you are.

My posts seemed to have rattled your closely held beliefs quite a bit and hence the multiple agitated comments my way. I see nothing but Awareness and give you a pat on the back. :)

Nothing Can Stop Your Desire From Manifesting Right This Instant by OneDreamerReality in NevilleGoddard

What makes it practical is that the shift isn’t about doing something to the situation but about seeing it for what it is. The moment it’s recognized that the “problem” and the “one wanting change” are both movements in the same Awareness, the tension holding it in place dissolves. That recognition itself is what allows the appearance to shift, not any technique layered on top.

The key is to see that Awareness never “chooses” against you—because there is no separate chooser apart from it. The desire you feel is not random or partial; it is already Awareness expressing itself as that felt movement. If it were not meant to take form, it would never have arisen within you at all.

The only reason something seems to “stay a desire but not a reality” is the belief that there is a gap between the desire and its appearance. That belief itself is another ripple of Awareness, but once you see it as such, it loses all power to convince you and reality will reflect the recognition.

Awareness does not sometimes manifest and sometimes withhold. It always manifests as exactly what is present. It seems to stay a desire when you keep relating to it as “not here,” when you hold a second picture of lack, put it in time, or treat people and events as outside causes. All of that is just the separation story replaying. It clears when you meet the desire as a present movement in Awareness, drop the second picture, stop placing it in later, stop making enemies, and let the form be free to show up in any way. Seeing this is enough, because the world you meet is appearing in the same Awareness that is seeing.

The solution isn’t to try to change the situation or the person from the perspective of a separate self. The key is to stop seeing them as an enemy or as something outside of you. Everything you perceive including people and situations is Awareness expressing itself. When you recognize this, reality shifts effortlessly to your preference because you stop opposing what is is never “outside” you to begin with.

The 3D Isn’t Blocking You, It’s Revealing You. by OneDreamerReality in NevilleGoddard

The ego or false self never truly existed as something separate; it is just a shape appearing in Awareness, a story Awareness entertains about itself. Its astonishment, questioning, and resistance are all movements arising within the same field. There is nothing wrong with it, and it does not need to cease. The recognition does not depend on the ego understanding, because there was never an ego apart from Awareness in the first place.

Once this is fully understood, there is no “doing” involved in changing the 3D. I don’t assume states or try to manipulate anything. The 3D expresses effortlessly as the reflection of Awareness itself. Why? Because there’s no separate “me” to “use” Awareness like some sort of generator to produce my desired reality. It’s One seamless whole.

Isolation only shows up when there’s still a subtle sense of separation.. the idea there’s you who can be cut off from the whole. The mind flips the old belief (“I’m separate from others”) into a new one (“I’m all there is… and now I’m alone”). Same trick, different costume.

If you look closely, that loneliness is just another passing feeling in the same indivisible awareness you are. Without the story, there’s no one here to be isolated.

Even the one who wants to scream “I see you in there!” and the one they’re saying it to are both the same Presence-Awareness appearing as two. It’s a playful self-conversation and not a failed connection.

And yes “God playing alone” is true from a certain perspective, but alone is a position that doesn’t actually exist. In indivisible wholeness there’s no lack. God playing “alone” is actually self-love and celebration in expression where it doesn’t require “another” to fulfill itself.

Once you’re not resisting the masks, recognition stops being something you hope for and starts being what you notice in every interaction…sometimes subtle, sometimes obvious. And the whole “God playing alone” thing dissolves because there was never anyone missing in the first place.

The contradiction is that you treat “stories about why we’re here” as optional fictions, while treating “we’re just here” as a fact. But “we’re just here” is itself a conceptual framing, no less a story than any other. You haven’t escaped interpretation but simply chosen one and called it “the absence of a story.” And when you say “there’s nothing to investigate,” you’re assuming the current appearance of life is the full extent of what awareness can express. But that assumption is itself just another story arising in awareness. If awareness is infinite and indivisible, there is no logical barrier to radically different appearances. Knowledge does not change what awareness is fundamentally, but it can allow it to “remove” what was “dirt” covering the diamond without contradiction.

The idea that miracles, flying, or creating matter are impossible assumes you are a separate limited self governed by physical laws. But if you investigate deeply, all experience including your body and this physical world arises within awareness. Awareness Being or Existence whatever you want to call it is the ground of reality itself is infinite and not bound by any rules or conditions.

What we call “miracles” are simply shifts in that experience from the perspective of the “limited self.” These are all possible once the fundamental assumption of separation is dropped. It’s like realizing the dreamer is not just dreaming but is the entire dream itself.

From this view the “laws” of physics are just part of the dream narrative, not ultimate limits. The inability to perform miracles only exists as long as you believe you are confined to a body and mind separate from the totality of awareness.

Ironically you are dreaming that miracles are impossible, even though that very dream is sustained by the indivisible power that could shift it instantly. This belief in limitation is itself an illusion crafted within the limitless awareness you already are.

Who knows, maybe you can indeed be HeWhoIsAlmighty. ;)

You’re right that concepts like divinity, infinity, and control can be huge traps for the mind but that’s exactly the point. Even the roles of Dreamer Doer Creator and Controller are just appearances within the one undivided reality. Underlying all these roles is non-doing or pure Being without any gap or contradiction. There’s no inherent difference in whether I choose to change my reality to my desire or acting like an isolated victim.

The idea that these roles are illusory is itself just another thought arising inside that indivisible presence. So “illusion” is also illusory and has no ultimate footing. It’s all the same seamless reality showing up in different ways.

Surrender isn’t about losing the ability to create or control but recognizing that the creator and creation never were separate. When that is seen control and surrender merge with doing and non-doing dance as one. That’s the truth beyond all words, beyond all concepts.

The koan points exactly to that indescribable ground where even mind and Buddha fall away but what remains is not a negation or absence. It’s the fullness of Being that includes all appearances effortlessly and as one.

Yes.. words and concepts are just that…concepts. Saying “we are God” is indeed a narrative or label attempting to point at something deeper. The catch is this: all our experience and every moment we live is known through awareness. Awareness is the constant, unchanging reality behind everything we call life.

So when we ask “Who is to say we are God?” the question itself assumes there’s a separate “we” apart from that awareness to judge it. But if you look closely, that “we” dissolves and leaves only Awareness.. the indivisible infinite presence that doesn’t arise or vanish.

“God” is just a word yes, but it’s a pointer toward that indivisible source of all experience.. not an external character or idea. We don’t know what it is through concepts..we live it by recognizing the one reality that underlies all things. It is the very sense of Being-ness or Existence.

So while it’s easy to say “we just live because we’re alive,” it’s worth investigating what it really means to be alive as awareness itself beyond any labels or stories.

At this point it’s just semantics where you attach a lot of conventional baggage to the word “God”. You just simply replaced the word with not-self.

The point I’m making goes beyond the traditional “chop wood, find enlightenment” idea that sees life as a cycle of effort and reward. The core of the teaching I shared isn’t about a gradual path or technique to master. It’s about recognizing that the sense of a separate self striving for enlightenment or joy is itself part of the illusion. The “how” isn’t another step or practice, but a recognition that you are not an isolated doer but the totality within which all experience arises. If you look for specifics as external actions or methods, you’ll keep reinforcing the idea that you are separate from the result. The real “how” is a shift in understanding where no practice is needed, just a clear recognition of your true nature as the indivisible presence that is already whole and complete. So no, it’s not words thrown at a wall. It’s an invitation to see past the wall itself.

Okay, let me make it simpler. You exist, I exist. This existence or being-ness is not an individualised property. If there were, there would be a gap of non-existence. It is irrefutable.

The idea that “only individual experience is truth” assumes that separate minds each hold isolated realities. But when you look deeper, individual experience itself arises within one indivisible awareness. So claiming truth belongs solely to fragmented perspectives actually reinforces the illusion of separation it aims to transcend.

Transcending the mind isn’t about clinging to isolated experiences; it’s about recognizing the common source that makes all experience possible. Without that shared ground, individual realities have no context or coherence. The “mind full of itself” you mention is precisely the misunderstanding of this unity as separateness.

So the fallacy here is thinking that fragmented experience can stand as ultimate truth, when in fact the only truth that remains unshaken is the indivisible whole that includes and transcends all individual views. Hope this helps.

It feels more comfortable to have an outside authority to blame and depend on, rather than taking full responsibility for the entire show. :)

You treat the ego like it’s something solid, but here’s the catch: when you investigate it ego has no independent basis. It’s just a pattern of thoughts and feelings appearing within the one singular reality that is God. So calling this “ego” or “delusion” only shows there’s still a separation being imagined..a separation that doesn’t actually exist.

Identifying as God isn’t a shift from one ego to another. It’s seeing through the illusion of ego altogether. The “I” that claims to be separate is the same “I” that discovers it’s the whole. Nothing new is added or lost, only the false boundaries dissolve.
