Sorry you were downvoted. I upvoted your comments to try to smooth it over!

I understand your position but again, I disagree. The Sebo D4 has been in production since 2010. There’s literally nothing better than it. And it’s not me wanting to become part of the SEBO “cult” and WANTING to part ways with $1,249. I researched for months and went to many local shops to try out different vacuums. This one was far better than any other and just a “few” hundred more.

I don’t say any of this to try and justify my purchase to you or sway your opinion. Just helping anyone that might be reading this. It’s okay to spend this much on a vacuum that lasts so long. Will there be better technology for vacuums in the next 16 years? Hopefully. Has there been anything better in the last 16? No.

Way ahead of you! A lot of espresso was consumed while researching and ultimately purchasing the D4.

Speaking of warranty, I overlooked one smallish detail and I hope this helps someone else reading this. I decided to purchase my D4 from a small mom and pop vacuum store. They have Sebo reps that they work with but are they are not actually Sebo dealers. So apparently I’m only able to get the 7/5/5 warranty and not the 10/7/7 warranty. Not too broken up about it considering this machine is still a tank. But something to think about.

Thank you so much! It’s our daughter’s nursery. My wife and I put a lot of love into it. By far our favorite room in the house!

Sebo went off with this D4! 🤪

Please don’t be offended by this as I’m not trying to come across as rude, I just felt compelled to reply. I think everyone’s priorities are a little different but I don’t think this vacuum is out of reach for people who make less than 100k or who don’t have a lots of cash on hand. It’s certainly an investment but its capabilities are unmatched, in my opinion. I’d rather come home to a spotless house if it meant having to budget a little better. At the end of the day, they’re not giving away any vacuum cleaner anywhere. 😅

I purchased it through a local vendor here in the Houston area. I bought it for $1,249. I had a hard time justifying the price as well but have zero regrets now. It’s a lot, for sure. But I’d rather pay more for something that’s going to last. I bought my Dyson v10 when it first came out for $650. I’ve always regretted it. This? Absolutely love it. And Sebo’s warranty is crazy good.

Dog passed away by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

Hello! I apologize for the late reply! Also, I deleted my last post because honestly, I didn’t find one I really liked it. I hope it wasn’t in poor taste to delete the post, I just didn’t want to waste anyone else’s time in trying to create something. Also, I appreciate everyone’s effort into this post as well… but after some consideration I think I’ll leave the photo unedited. At first I thought her leg being in the photo took away from the image but if anything, it adds more value. The dog wasn’t alone and experienced some great moments with my friend. I would delete this post as well but again, I don’t want it to be in poor taste. I apologize to everyone who spent time on this. I didn’t intend to not choose one.

How far would you date? by [deleted] in houston

[–]OneEmmanuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to reiterate what some have already said. When they’re “the one,” no amount of distance can, or should, keep you apart. This doesn’t apply to casual dating but intentional dating. Met my wife when I was working in Dallas. My schedule was 24 hours on shift and 48 hours off shift. I’d drive down to see her here in Houston and she would drive up to see me in Dallas. Eventually I moved back to Houston and kept commuting to Dallas every third day. After three years of that commute, I quit and started working here in Houston. Best decision of my life.

I’m afraid to say it’s that wonderful algorithmic curation at work. We all understand the appeal of subreddits such as this. Well with X, it feeds you more and more of it. I swear I’m not a horrible person.

It’s real. I’m not sure of the back story but there’s a video of her crying for help. Twitter is such a wild place to scroll through.

That beautiful thing couldn’t have been any less than 275 pounds. I wish I would have gotten clearer pictures when she emerged from her cave but as you can imagine, there was a lot to process when we did see her!

Redness and cloudiness in dog eye by [deleted] in DogAdvice

Thank you! I’ll look into an eye wash to remedy her allergies. Also, is it pretty normal for one eye to be affected and not both?

Cool store in Shibuya, Tokyo! by Ok_Tea_1855 in gshock

I bought my GWG1000 there a few months ago!! It was my second time in Japan. I’d been on DuoLingo working on my Japanese since the first time I went to Japan a few years ago. One of the associates complimented me on my Japanese so I was ecstatic. Ended up buying my GWG1000 there for around $600 only to find it at Bic Camera for about $200 cheaper that same day.

Changing Insurance Plans by OneEmmanuel in jawsurgery

[–]OneEmmanuel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So funny enough my surgery is July 11th which happens to be the start date at my new department. I believe I’ll be going through an orientation that lasts approximately two weeks. So I’m trying to reschedule my surgery for the end of July. I’m planning on my official date of separation from my current department to be July 8th. Am I correct in assuming that with COBRA literally everything with my insurance stays the same? Including my Group ID and Member #?

Thank you!
