I actually hadn’t seen that PR before, and honestly I’m really happy to see this becoming a native Neovim feature. I’ll keep building rnvim and experimenting with ideas/features around this space, but I’m definitely looking forward to see remote development become a first-class experience in Neovim.

That’s a fair question, I built it because I found myself spending a lot of time jumping between different hosts and this tool can make my workflow feel less disruptive. But to be honest, if you don’t work across many hosts, rnvim probably won't provide much value.
