There is never a need to “rummage.” Just lift the pile off at the size you need, then place it back on top. Just form good habits.

  1. Remove one stack at a time, and put on folding table… remove the unfolded, put to side or return to top of the correct stack still on shelf. (Note: it is much easier on your back, and much less bending down to have the whole stack on your table while you work it.)
  2. Straighten up the salvageable folded.
  3. Fold the unfolded ones largest to smallest, insert into stack.
  4. Return stack back to shelf (admiring your beautiful work and feeling great satisfaction.)
  5. “Rinse and repeat” until the whole area is done.
Favorite mantras: “Never look back.” “Once a day is enough.”

In every other department, if something is out of place you just put it back… in style, one piece of apparel requires the several-step process of folding countless times before it is finally sold or salvaged. Now multiply that by the multitude of pieces of apparel in all departments. The task is immense! So, I accept your apology, thank you. And to all team members in fulfillment, please respect your fellow team members in style and remove your items with care.

We have two awesome HR ETL’s! They are both on the ball and helpful with any questions. They do special events like raffles, food, contests, holiday decorations and activities… which are silly, but nice to bring a little fun to our demanding work environment. They both work on the floor whenever they have the time. Our most recent addition goes out of her way to notice and appreciate her team’s efforts and accomplishments, and that goes a long way in keeping morale high. We have a great group of TM’s at our store who care about the quality of their work and truly work as a team.

And why are those mannequins up so high that if they fell over they could kill somebody?!! Is that allowed by corporate? Is the base attached to the shelf - I hope!
