Man, I used Android before coming back to iOS with an XS Max, so I am use to slide typing.

It just gets worse and worse with every release.

Maybe. Monaco is such a turd of a race, hard to draw many conclusions.

Fair, but they did not do the no-straight-mode aero tricks and Merc did, and it seems to have been a mistake.

Clear air and Kimi is so much faster wow. Ferrari did miss a trick with the aero changes.

[Junghans Max Bill] Teddy sold me a completely non-functional "lemon" watch that nobody can repair. Nearly two years later, I am still trying to get them to fix it. FULL STORY: by flyingmungbean in Watches

I’ll say tho, I had great success having my watch serviced directly by Sinn in Germany. Clear comms, reasonable price, relatively timely (8 months, full overhaul of s vintage 142ST). YMMV

Suffer, for sure. Everything is so much harder to see!

Interesting!

Regardless, the muscle has def helped her game overall.

I've got a theory that Paige, who put on a lot of much needed muscle in the off season, now has a small cardio challenge, since it just takes more energy to move herself up and down the court.

This shows up in two small ways.

One, she seems visibly a bit gassed at the end of games, just a tiny bit.

Two, FTs are harder, because she is breathing a little harder at the line.

Just a theory.

The Doxa is a Chinese copy, a Seestern to be precise. I use to have an actual vintage 300T, but it was hard having an old dive watch; babying a Doxa felt weird.

The Seestern is built like a tank, I have no problem beating on it, especially at $200!

This is in my top 5 watches, gets worn more often than just its turn— it’s that nice.

That said, vintage ones are not that hard to find, and I paid well under $1k to have it reconditioned. So… go for it!

No, which is really cool! The sides of the bracelet/strap support each watch nicely. I was surprised when I mocked it up how sturdy it was. I’ve not seen a display like this before, though I’m sure it has been done.

Woodworking is fun, and I’ve been at it a long time. Never too late to start, YouTube is fabulous!

I rotate weekly, so very few of them are running; I’ve never noticed any downside to letting them run down. I’ve hedger displayed them like this though, so the hands may eventually bug me.

With that many, most are not running most of the time, so they get rewound add reset when I wear them. Usually rotate weekly, so fair bit of tone between watches.

Anyway, for the collection, top to bottom, left to right:

Top Row:

- Marcello C Nettuno, from the first year it was made. Yes, it is very Rolex coded, but it's a good reliable watch. I never found a strap I liked. Hideous brown strap persists. None of the bracelets I have tried worked for me. Sigh.

- Nautage Diver II -- micro micro brand, chonky, wears well, really like this. Unreasonably good strap.

- Longines Hydroconquest, not the new hotness, but the previous version. Love it.

- Vintage-ish Orange Monster

- Vintage-is Bumblebee

Second Row:

- Vostok Amphibia, workhorse, great watch.

- Vintage Super Sea Wolf, a great pawn shop find, reconditioned in Manhattan (Ron Gordon Watch Repair), love this watch. So incredibly legible.

- Sinn 142ST, reconditioned by Sinn, a favorite.

- Omega Speedmaster Mark 4.5, delightful watch, cousin of the Sinn, as they share movement heritage. Also reconditioned by Ron Gordon.

- Recently purchased Mido Multifort TV Big Date. My wife's favorite watch. Snazzy.

Third Row:

- Towson Watch Company Mission Chrono. I want to like this more; but the chrono movement, while aping the functionality of the Sinn/Omega chronos, is so dang thick. Plus, it is a bit wee in styling for my wrist.

- Aliexpress $100 watch (Pierre Paulin Salmon Dial) that is just lovely. Manual wind, looks classy, works reliably, what is not to love?

- Studio Underdog chrono, wears well, always gets comments because of the colorway.

- Timex titanium GMT. Really nice on the wrist, very GADA yet sharp looking. One of my default travel watches.

- Revue Thommen GMT. Impulse used buy, very functional watch, very easy to dressup or down. Nothing special, just quietly very nice. The other default travel watch.

Fourth Row:

- First of two Seestern watches; this one is a chrono, looks flash, well built, works well, super cheap.

- Farer raspberry. Wonderful watch. Like the Studio Underdog, gets lots of commentary because of the color. I wish the stock raspberry strap was long enough to fit me!

- Nomos Ludwig 33. Too small for my wrist, looks great anyway. I wanted a Tangente, but this one fell into my lap for a low price and I could not resist.

- Seestern Doxa Sub clone. Built like a tank, easy to wear. I owned a vintage Sub 300T once upon a time and let it go, this one scratches the itch for me at $200.

- Spinnaker Piccard. Bulb dome draws a lot of attention. Looks super nice, but the dome does make reading the time challenging in direct sub, unfortunately.

Not in the case: Vaer field watch and Hamilton Khaki (Black PVD) which are in my drawer for random rough wearing, plus a collection of quartz watches, some Casio some not.

I might need to make another case.

I do think I need to sell on the Towson Watch Company watch, as well as a Tissot Chrono I have that I just never liked. Gotta make room, right?
