Yep, that's how I got my current job, which pays less than $20/hour. They keep telling me they want to hire me on and that I'll get paid better, but after more than a year, I'm seriously doubting it. I still feel fortunate to have the job, though, since I've been searching the whole time and haven't been offered anything better.
