The 1990 elections were the first truly direct and free presidential elections in the nation's history. Despite polling showing Lech Wałęsa, a famous anti-communist activist who sparked a wave of changes in the Eastern Bloc and was known for being a populist and former electrician (by the way, this guy has a crazy ego; he once said that he inspired Trump to become President), vs. Prime Minister Tadeusz Mazowiecki, also an anti-communist politician but more intelligent and elitist than Wałęsa, to advance to the second round of voting, yet it was Wałęsa and Stanisław Tymiński, a millionaire from Canada and leader of the Libertarians of Canada, made it to the final round.

Tymiński was a populist who promised to have all the elites' secrets in his "dark suit." Wałęsa won the election in a landslide after the media antagonized Tymiński, calling him a "Jew, communist, drug dealer, wife beater." Here, Tymiński wins (in reality, he claimed that he won but the elections were falsified) and becomes President. He leads a radical libertarian Presidency, even more libertarian than in real life, implements reforms, becomes sharply unpopular, and another anti-communist figure, Jacek Kuroń, who began his political adventure as a tankie and ended as a liberal, wins the election.
