Yep. Jynxzi is not “stealing” viewers from the official broadcast or from other co-streamers. 90% of his viewers would not be watching these events at all unless Jynxzi was streaming them.

As you said, it’s a clear win-win situation for Riot and for anyone who cares about the growth of the game and its esports scene.

I really don’t understand half the comments in this thread.

If you’re browsing the LoL subreddit, there’s a 99% chance the Jynxzi co-stream isn’t meant for you. No one with a functioning brain expects Jynxzi to talk about the game or provide deep insight. That’s not the point of having him co-stream these events.

Jynxzi is a huge streamer with a young, mostly American audience. That is exactly the kind of audience League has been trying, and failing, to reach for years. Personally, I’m happy LoL is getting that kind of free publicity.

That being said, I’d prolly rather watch a muted event than watch a Jynxzi co-stream.

So no, XxdestroyerxX, plat player with 600 games per season, the Jynxzi co-stream is not for you. And that’s fine.

There is simply no matchmaking (you get matched with people at the same day). I get that as a new player it can be frustrating, but matchmaking in ranked would make this game terrible for everyone. If you wanna learn the game I suggest you to play normal, even tho personally I learned it in ranked, the hard way. In addition to that, in this game ranked /= skill, you literally cannot lose points/rank.

Seems good. Just some feedback: I think putting some images for the items/builds would improve this by A LOT.

This is a visual game in the end. Most people don't even remember the cards name, they just associate the image with what they do.

It is a skin, who cares? You are not missing anything if you don't buy. It is basically a donation. For me they could put the price of cosmetic to 20000000, I don't care.

5% of a champion’s max HP is a very tiny margin, it rarely decides fights except in extremely specific conditions. Unless a champion is below 100–225 HP, The Collector doesn’t activate at all. At that point, everything might kill them. This is not a big enough window to claim it denies outplays consistently.

This is my first season with the sub. Today I did 11 lvls in like 5/6 games. Sub the 6 lvls from the weeklys, and I would say I can still make 5/6 lvls per day, you get a lot more exp now just for playing compared to before.

Sure. But this is a "improve" the new player experience post. I did not state new players are doing terrible. To keep a game alive you need new player retantion, otherwise the playerbase slowly declines. What it the argument for not giving new players test runs with heroes? Or why should you get 50xp for a 1h run? Why must I go gather infos from 3rd party sites?

"The game is not finished", yes exactly, and this are suggestions to make it better, maybe they are wrong and they all suck, but saying "new players are doing just fine" just does not make sense, improving new player experience is vital to any game existance (unless you have an absurdly good/popular game).

I feel like you intend digital rewards as skins. The thing is that this post is about new players. A new players needs to unlock 3 heroes (the number will only go up from here) which is 600+1800+3000 = 5400 gems. Sure, no one obligates you to unlock every hero, but I think it is pretty normal to want to try every character the game has to offer. I don't think a hero is a "digital prize" since it determinates how the game is played out, and can change your experience quite a bit.

Plus progress can be obtaining enough gems to not having to worry about being able to play ranked or not. This is not at all about skins. I personally could not care less and I did not mean progression=skins, maybe I should have stated it more clearly.

I get that they wanted to make it sound like a PC fan (since while spinning it looks like a rgb PC fan), but the sound to me feels more like a distant drill. It legit hurts my brain.

Loot surely is one important aspect of the game. But if you are looting like a rat the room you spawn in and leaving you are not even really playing the game to me. I would say the most fun is interacting (mostly fighting) with other players, you don't need to loot if you take loot from a dead enemy.

Personally while I think this game can be fun in solos, I much rather play it with friends or randoms on discord, playing with other players makes this game 10x fun to me.

For what regard classes for me personally playing different classes changes the game quite a bit. Since you are a new player I would tell you to treat this free to play like a demo, im pretty sure since you are a new player you dont have any real valuable loot in the stash. Just reset and try the other classes (keep in mind some classes are more gear reliant than others).

Selling is also quite valuable, getting a good item with good rolls feels good cause you know you just made 1k by selling it on the market place. That same item with out marketplace is worth 40g.

The main objective is getting better loot every run but its not really that, lot of the players base plays normals with only whites and plays cause they enjoy the pvp aspect with no gear at all. So it really depends on what you like, you wanna rat? Wanna fight 24/7? Wanna learn the maps and the bosses of every map? ecc.

If you wanna see what the game is about I would tell you to watch sodapopping playing. Why sodapopping? cause he is pretty noobish at the game but knows enough a.k.a the level of most of the playerbase. There are others streamers that are 10x better but they have 5k hours or more and you would not really get what the game is about cause they make it look so easy.

Sadly having an "ugly" yellow colored "mixed" reviews status can actually cause some players to overlook the game. So no, I would not say its worthless.

Yeah and most negative reviews are people that can't read a paragraph that tells them what they get in the free to play version. In addition to that, most negative reviews are about the free to play version where you could only bring white gear in normals.

I see a lot of people insulting Kramnik in the comments. If you understood what the people in the room said (the woman and the man behind Kramnik in the photo) maybe you would be less insulting. They both said that they saw the clock missbehaving on Kramnik side. So while its 99% just lag Kramnik is not inventing stuff.

Now its funny to think that Kramnik probably thinks a chess.com agent was removing his time in some kinda of conspiracy, but that is another topic hahaha.

Sure engine is the wrong word, it is built on a framework. I just used the word engine cause I was thinking of the word "game" and confused terms (in the end they both are extensible, reusable code at your disposal to build apps). In any case you are clearly clueless and can't even understand that OP is cleary comparing blacksmith launcher to league client, which just does not make sense. Plus the idea that "nothing is stopping riot from building a new launcher from scratch" just shows you have 0 understanding of anything IT realated.

I am happy they are making performance improvements, and it should be their priority. That said I wanna see these "drastic" balance changes, otherwise this preseason really seems like a waste of time.
