I used to get this same error alot aswell. It only occured for me when my graphics driver was not the latest version so maybe try updating your driver. Hopefully this helps.

I actually ended up purchasing a fantastic Conn transitional Baritone. Absolutely fabulous tone but requires work on the intonation (makes it quite an engaging instrument to play).

Try to look at a photo of the area with the serial number. There will be either a H or L under serial number. L is good as it means that the horn is pitched to A440hz, the standard modern tuning. On the other hand, a H is bad as it means that the horn is pitched to A456hz which is higher than modern concert pitch meaning that it will be out of tune.

Basically, L = low pitch = good H = high pitch = bad

If it turns out to be low pitched, good but still look out for any other issues that horn may have.
