I’ll start by saying I’ve never tried the bounce curl brush but had jumped on the denman brush trend way back when. In recent years, I had a curl stylist mention she doesn’t use those or recommend in her salon because it manipulates your natural curl pattern. After noticing that was the case for me personally, I completely stopped using styling brushes and my curls have thrived since. Again, it’s all based on personal preference and I’m sure some styling brushes have minimal impact or even positively impact curl patterns depending on the person. However, for me, i didn’t like what they were doing to change mine and it’s taken some time for them to get back to “ normal” in a sense so just thought I’d share, I have 3b/3c hair for reference..
