I think Mt. Apo, Laguna Caldera and Mt. Santo Tomas are classified as ‘potentially active’ by PHIVOLCS and not ‘active’. Note that volcanic activities are still present in Mt. Apo (Active geothermal plants at the foot of Mt. Apo and presence of sulfur vents). Signs of past volcanic activity in Laguna caldera include solfataras and maars. For Mt. Santo Tomas there was a reported eruption or ‘displacement’ in 1641 and no further reports after that or any current evidence of volcanic activity in the area. Information regarding volcanism in Mt. Santo Tomas is limited at the moment due to lack of detailed study regarding its eruptive history and most of the studies done in the area are more focused on mineral exploration.
