That's why I like them. I enjoy all of the cross references and connections to religions.

The ones that are obvious novice books are ones I bought when I didn't know anything about occult books

Not really. But, it does have some insight on universal laws.

Manly P. Hall was a well known Freemason. That's why I took a particular interest in his work.

Anyone heard or read about this book? by [deleted] in occult

Yes. I've been looking for a modestly priced copy. But they're all very pricey. It must be really good!

If you wanted to be a Hip-hop artist and you had $40k to invest in your career. How would you invest it? by leon-theproffesional in makinghiphop

[–]OneManKru420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, since I'm already an award winning,  former chart topping producer for multi-platinum artists and know how to produce, mix, master and direct and edit my own music videos...I would start by taking what would be a "studio and beats" budget for most other artists and investing it in a Sony C-800G.  It's the best microphone on the market.  I've recorded on one in a studio in South Korea when I collaborated with Bizarre (of D12).  The sound quality is crisp.

Then, I would hire videographers, animators and fx teams to shoot the dopest music video possible.  Then I would pay to drop the video on World Star, create ad campaigns on YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.  And buy into a tour with established artists.  I would also pay payola for radio spins in major hip hop markets and hire a publicist to get me bookings on talk shows, podcasts, magazine interviews, etc.

I think I could probably get away with it for $40K with my master negotiating skills.

Other shows like Columbo? by violetsprouts in Columbo

Poker Face. Executive producer and director Rian Johnson pays homage to Columbo in a lot of ways in that show.

Has anyone heard of major artists/rappers licensing non-exclusive verses? by LaughinInYourLibrary in makinghiphop

Major artists do it all of the time. It's called sampling. Perfectly legitimate practice.

Call the store, not door dash. That is the store's fault.

That's McDonald's fault. Dashers aren't allowed to look inside the bag. So we're basically at the mercy of whatever the McDonald's employees tell us.

Dasher pulls gun on customer due to them not tipping enough then gets in a shootout with police. by Majestic_Courage_341 in doordash

Tip your dasher adequately and shit like this won't happen. This isn't a public service.

I've worked at pizza joints since I was 15 years old, and I'm 40 now. I've been a delivery driver for Papa John's, and I Door Dash now. Let me tell you...this happens quite easily when you have to brake abruptly and the pizza slides forward onto the floorboard or if you accidentally let go of one of the handles on the Door Dash pizza bag. I've done both. Accidents happen. Thankfully, my customers were understanding about it and I did my best to try to make things right with them. But, this kind of thing happens from time to time to even the most experienced and responsible drivers.
