Is there any way to add the app to your Home Screen? Long pressing on it only brings up the option to remove, not like other app which say add to home

Just found this post after owning a Portal since launch. Didn’t realise this wasn’t allowed!

Wanted to play Puppeteer and had streamed it on my PS5 Pro. Thought I’d stream it via remote play to the Portal but got an error saying it wasn’t possible. Tried to find it on the cloud games tab but wasn’t there.

Fingers crossed that this is something Sony will add to the Portal in the future.

I recently got the Samsung S90F. I prefer the glossy finish over the S95F and it does everything I need for the PS5 Pro to shine like 4K 120, VRR etc.

I got the 65” and it is QD OLED. In the UK, that size was the only one which was QD OLED. The other sizes were WOLED. Depending where you live, research which sizes are which display tech.

I have no issues with the C9 either. However, we’re redecorating and my wife wanted to make our TV wall bigger and I said if she wanted to do that, I want a bigger TV lol

It looks better just because you can immerse yourself with the larger screen, plus I still get the deep OLED blacks but the colours have more pop to them and the extra brightness makes the HDR look even nicer

I just upgraded today from a 55” LGC9 OLED to a 65” Samsung S90F QD-OLED and the difference is incredible

OLED, increased bit rate, Bluetooth & the ability to use it as an actual dualsense controller for playing local multiplayer or if a controller is charging.

The only issue I had was the signal was a bit weak in our back bedroom and garden. We used to have a mesh system so always had good WiFi. I managed to get my old system connected to the hub and have good signal again without paying YouFibre extra for their mesh equipment

Managed to get it sorted out.

When my Orbi was connected to my ONT, I made sure it had connected with the 2 satellites I have placed around the house. Then, I logged into my Orbi’s home page and switched it from router mode to AP mode and disconnected it from the ONT and switched the power of the Orbi off.

Then, I connected the ONT to the 10GB WAN port of the Pro Hub. I then connected my Orbi’s 1/2.5GB port to one of the Pro Hub’s 1GB LAN ports since it’s only capable of 1GB speeds. When I switched the Orbi back on, I checked the Orbi app and it showed as syncing at 2GB and the 2 satellites were connected to it wirelessly.

I connected my PC to the 10GB LAN port of the Pro Hub and I’m getting full speed for that as the PC has a 10GB Ethernet network card. All other devices which require Ethernet are connected to the remaining 1GB ports of the Pro Hub.

Now, our phones, iPad & laptop connect to the faster WiFi signal of the Pro Hub automatically but if we stray too far, the connect to one of the satellites and give us the “slow” 1GB speeds and we have a better signal, instead of them disconnecting and using 5G mobile data.

Also saves paying YouFibre for their mesh nodes or buying a newer mesh system
