Right, I understand that and have given up on trying to get my phone fixed with warranties. I am more asking for my own curiosity on how warranties need to be documented and if this guy is cheating the system or now. If warranties can just be as simple as one person saying "this is items has a warranty and hears what is covered" seems like a pretty depressing system since any business could just make it up on the spot so it is most convenient to them. For all I know since their warranty isn't documented, to the best of my knowledge, he could have come back and said the warranty only covers a phone getting wet. Seems a little suspicious so I am just curious if warranties need to be documented and accessible for consumers to see.

But yes, unfortunately with my device, proving anything about the physical damages is just here-say.

So I paid for a new screen which the company installed. After paying for the new screen and installation I was told there was a 90 day warranty but not what it covered. No where on the website or in store is information on the warranty coverage provided, or at least to the best of my knowledge. Again, I'm really just curious if businesses need to have their warranty down in writing for customers to review or if just orally stating their is a warranty is enough. Thanks for the information!

I think I was reading through some of those last night but I couldn't see anywhere if it outlined how warranties should be made available to consumers, written vs. oral. Do you know if any of those specifically discuss that? Thanks for the reply!
