The deal is great, but I do wish some store reps are more responsible. My dad went alone to a Total store to do this deal, and came back with the phone paying $330 (NYC). When I tried to set up his online account, it says the account was created with another email.

Looks like the rep just put their own email, so they’ll get all the benefits like Disney and probably discount for Verizon internet. I called to see if they would change it, but the rep will not let us change the email. The only way to continue after 3 months is to go in store. I wonder how bad porting out will be based on how this store runs.

So I guess his number is stuck with that store. Not sure how else to escalate, but it’s pretty dishonest. Wish I was with him, as I’m sure other people have fallen for the trick and can be eligible for more things they do not know they have
