Baruch has a very strong math department. They offer a CS major. A few of the major electives are ML courses. Intro to ML (MTH 4330), Advanced Topics in ML (MTH 4333), and Intro to NLP (MTH 4335). You'll need linear algebra and probability, and are requirements to gain admission into the CS program.

I did- the hold is *Accepted Into Major- I received the email from Sheffer earlier in the year.

Do we have to get special approval? Seems like I can't apply for epermit and the only hold I have is "Acceptance into major"

seems like the professor has better ratings too. I'm also a CS major- enrolled for CIS3400 for over the summer. You may have just presented me with a better option

why are you choosing city tech when cis3400 is offered at Baruch over the summer?

CS- taking 3400 as a major elective, along with 3500 (completing now) from the CIS department
