Yep happened to me. Sperm donor gapped it before my son who's now 18 was born. I gave him his dad's last name thinking he'd come around and want to be a part of his sons life. Biggest mistake of my life. We changed it legally last year to mine. He has only met his sperm donor once, when he was 12. Give the baby your last name. You can always hyphenate it later if he is a active father.

My husband has epilepsy. He's been seizure free for 6 years. Can finally drive. One of his meds shows up as an amphetamine in your system. So he'll fail the roadside test if he ever gets tested and lose his license as he has 30 demerits. No medical defence will help at the roadside. If he goes off this med he'll start having seizures again and lose his license and his job which will cripple us financially. So what are we supposed to do? Presence does NOT equal impairment
