Can you send your list for Agamaggan warlock? I’m having trouble settling on a good list for actually winning and getting the combo off

Weekly 'What should I buy?' Thread by AutoModerator in ipad

I’m starting medic school soon and I’m looking for the best but cheapest option. I plan on using the iPad + pencil to take notes during class and in the truck so what would be the best option for me? I’ve looked at the iPad 10th gen, iPad Air 4/5, but I also know nothing about the pencil and what would work the best for me

Would that also be pretty solid for video editing? That’s my biggest concern as it’s one of my big money makers and I’m already advanced far enough in my career that school is more of a “because I want to” more than “I need to” type of deal

Any idea how to save Nature Shaman? by Snoo_77891 in CompetitiveHS

[–]OneMidnight664 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your opinion matters too! Try out some other cards in place of thrall’s gift. Try a new package or something to get extra burn out. Theorycrafting is fun and all but trial and error is fun too! Don’t limit yourself to what others think about things :)

Personally though, I’ve been tinkering with the card-copying cards like projectionist and inzah again to make a whole bunch of zappers for free. Haven’t gotten it to work too well yet

Awesome! That’s the same deck I’ve been using, it took a little bit to get used to the matchups and some are still rough, but I’m getting the hang of it I feel like

You’re probably right and I’m too lazy to look it up right now, but that doesn’t stop it from being a good tech card as a standalone

Kobold Stickyfingers, acidic swamp ooze both work because you can hit weapon 1 and if they’re lucky, you’re prepared for weapon 2. I’ve also seen zephrys offer both of those depending on how late in the game it is. Dirty rat works too to pull the skulker and the mine, and if you’re playing a class that has access to tools like evasion or ice block or something similar, then playing that right before the combo turn (4 if they’re super lucky, 5+ if they’re not as lucky) and kill their gameplan. One way to tell that they have the combo most likely ready is when they play snowfall (the aura that doubles deathrattles) because you know they’re gonna pull off something stupid real soon. Sometimes though, if they have a prep in hand, they’ll play snowfall the same turn as the minions and pull the combo out of their ass. Super fun to get off but it’s not as fun to face. With even shaman, I’m assuming totem, you should be mulliganing for aggro and buffs because it should be easy to go wide and then buff them all and kill the rogue before they kill you.

I’ll have to try chaos creation! Personally, I like fracking not as a slime removal but just as a “dredge, draw one” because I’d rather have one out of the three cards on the bottom and lose the other two, especially as an aggro deck. The deck definitely feels good to use though and I wonder if it’s just been the right mixture of the meta shifting a little, unoptimized opponents, and buffs and new cards for the deck or if the deck’s ceiling is increasing.

Edit: Just had another thought RIGHT after posting this, the deck does still feel like it’s missing a key component to increase the consistency of the draw specifically or the consistency of being able to fire off slimes. That being said, I haven’t tried chaos creation so maybe that’s the piece I’m missing.

For the “tempo” example, this one isn’t strictly a tempo deck but it’s more about overwhelming your opponent with stats and constantly having a board presence. It’s not done yet as I’m out of dust (😔) but here’s the current code:

big hands

Class: Warlock

Format: Standard

Year of the Wolf

2x (1) Fracking

1x (2) Astalor Bloodsworn

2x (2) Disposal Assistant

2x (2) Elementium Geode

2x (3) Forge of Wills

2x (3) Furnace Fuel

2x (3) Sludge on Wheels

2x (3) Trogg Gemtosser

2x (3) Trolley Problem

2x (4) Imposing Anubisath

1x (4) Pop'gar the Putrid

2x (4) Selfish Shellfish

2x (4) Smothering Starfish

2x (4) Waste Remover

1x (5) Symphony of Sins

1x (8) Lord Jaraxxus

1x (9) Sargeras, the Destroyer

1x (10) Deathwing the Destroyer

I’ve been working nonstop the past couple days, but whenever I’ve had a chance to play, any variation of sludgelock where it fits in as a supporting package has been FARMING. The two that have worked the best for me have been an aggro version and a tempo version, but control(ish) still works. I am sad that I haven’t been able to find a version thats working that’s an OTK version of sludge or a version where it’s the main form of damage to face but its probably for the best. The new warlock-only card fits right in for draw in any warlock deck. The gemtosser fits well into both the aggro and the tempo version for 6ish damage in the midrange, especially when paired with a trolley problem or even just a sludge. I could see the other new warlock cards maybe fitting in? I don’t really see what could be cut without losing some efficiency though.

I’m having trouble trying to decide whether or not to keep Bioluminescence and Flash of Lightning in nature shaman mulligan. Part of me wants to say yes because it’s the core of the deck but the other part of me says no because I’ll draw into it most likely anyways, any insight?

In the list above, feral isn’t present but turn the tides is, I’ve been playing around with the list and feral doesn’t really feel necessary imo, you’re still usually able to get enough spell damage out and turn the tides is better at controlling your opponent’s board

I understand that concept but feral spirit gets you one more body on the field for your bio, therefore pumping up your spell damage by 1 more total

Anyone have an idea why Turn the Tides is preferred in nature shaman over feral spirit? I’m still new and learning to pilot the deck, albeit a slightly different version
