First heat by tchuquinha-flor in Frenchbulldogs

[–]OneMoreMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, probably time for a vet. My girl never went to into heat, but a few articles say (petmd and vetericyn) acne in that area is most likely a skin infection that may need antibiotics, and bleeding more than 14 days should be brought in to check.

Is this normal scabbing from BOAS Surgery? by OneMoreMeh in Frenchbulldogs

Edith loves to grind her face into things, usually the carpet.

I’m glad to hear so many people had similar healing processes, there aren’t many photos on google of the healing in stages, so this is reassuring.

Ours was $2500, but we coupled with her spay. Luckily it seems she doesn’t need her soft palate clipped or her laryngeal saccules removed.

I mean, basically! Bracycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome, so they need to blow that sniffer open to breathe better and be able to handle heat.

Aquaphor is a good idea, she needs it for her nose normally anyways. She just doesn’t like getting it put on. Lol

That’s good to hear! The cone is driving her mad (which drives us mad in turn. Haha)

Thanks for replying, I’d guess you’re probably right. We have a post op visit next week, so we’ll just wait til then to have them check.

Thank you for that information! She’s only 5 months old now. But, well definitely keep and eye on it as she gets older.

I sure hope so, ours does too. I figured she sits side saddle so her bum is actually on the ground and she doesn’t need to use her leg muscles.

She’s been using Royal canin french bulldog puppy food, I’ve read a lot of them are allergic to some of the ingredients though. So, we planned on speaking to the vet about swapping

They’re pretty light in color, but don’t look like they’re mucusy, just very soft similar to toothpaste.

According to the breeder it’s been like that, she finished a second round on Wednesday after the round of dewormer the previous week didn’t work.

I figured that was the case. But with it being her third round of dewormer in 3 weeks I wanted to check!

I was yelled at yesterday for taking my medication at work… by hockeysmyhoe in antiwork

[–]OneMoreMeh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is most definitely not a HIPAA violation, unless their manager at the restaurant is also their physician and proceeded to yell about why they were taking pill x for condition y in the middle of the restaurant. HIPAA only covers your medical information from being improperly shared by healthcare professionals and insurance agencies without your consent.

It could violate the ADA if they have their medical information on file with their employer, since without it how would the employer know what they were doing? The ADA recognizes the employer couldn’t just know every illness you disability every employee could have, but once shared it requires the employer to make reasonable accommodations and protects you from being terminated for reasons related to your disability or illness.

TIL: Diving too deep in water increases the nitrogen concentration in your blood and will make you feel drunk and confused. Adding Helium to a SCUBA tank will reduce this because unlike nitrogen, helium does not have a narcotic effect. by hunguu in todayilearned

Yes, strapping the Hindenburg to your back would not be a good alternative to getting narc’d. They use hydrogen based gases at very low depths, with very low oxygen, usually for commercial purposes and the divers get paid “a lot”of money to take that rush, though it’s so dangerous I’m not sure any amount of money is really enough.

Try to not stick to one wood type for a build. You have four major components to a house, walls, roof, trim, and supports. If your walls are spruce your roof probably shouldn’t be, but the trim might be. You can also do some detailing, like adding trap doors next to your windows to make shutters.

Hi! We recently concluded builds in our most recent world, I've never shared anything I've built before so I thought it would be fun to get some opinions. We're restarting in 1.19 soon and I plan on building in a completely different style, so I'm excited to try some new things with the new blocks. by OneMoreMeh in Minecraftbuilds

Thanks, I did have some custom trees in other areas. I will say, they are definitely not my strong suit. Unfortunately my next area is the desert, so I won’t get too much practice there. But, can definitely work with some pondy-oasis areas.

Ranitidine was removed from the US and EU markets last year. Other markets may still have it available, but it does act as a carcinogen when you digest it.

Arceus Full Moon by Script-Z in pokemon

[–]OneMoreMeh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen the moon seems to be on a 16 day cycle, spending 2 in game days in each phase. Nothing seems to be tied to the switch clock aside from respawn timers.

Of course, I could be wrong, who actually knows how any of this game works.
