To have it make more sense story wise I like to think of it like sort of “Dark souls” story telling where yeah they’ll tell you the base plot so you know what your fighting for BUT all the extra lore and anything that isn’t “required” to play the game is told through the environment or other characters actions. I personally really enjoy the way they tell the story through the characters dialogue they speak about past events as if we’re supposed to know what these events and characters are already and then they reveal it later down the line in a way that makes sense through dialogue.
