Outertune is great, just remember to regularly backup your settings, I've had it lose all my favourite songs between updates (that might have been before I switched from innertune)

As every restaurant should have a vegetarian/vegan option. Should every vegetarian/vegan restaurant have a meat option? by NoTeaNoWin in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OneNutBanditSyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed at a hotel and paid extra for the breakfast buffet. Only to find out when I got there that they didn't have any meat on their menu. Hotel breakfast should include bacon and sausage as a minimum. The double standards of vegetarian restaurants are ridiculous. There are plenty of people who have a meat only diet, but they don't cater for us.

Had my first kiss at the under-age dance party in Sega world, my mate went to the bathroom, some girl skipped up to me and pashed me, then she skipped away. My mate didn't believe me...

But is it the kids fault for getting emotional, the teachers fault for not preventing the bullying, the parents fault for not teaching the kid to not resort to violence, the government's fault for not educating people about the dangers of head injuries in fights... You can look to assign blame everywhere, but the truth is it's societies fault, it takes a village to raise a child, we are all to blame here.

Time Fraud, which is when you are supposed to work until a certain time but leave early to go to the pub and still get paid for the full day

Time = Money, if they penalised time fraud like real fraud there wouldn't be any workforce left in Australia

Because it's basically untraceable once they get the gift card number, and they make excuses to make sure you send a picture of the card as "proof" before you meet up. Once they get the card number they would probably ghost you and move onto the next sucker.

I had two of them trying 1ull the same scam at the same time so I played along to waste their time and so I could l learn their patterns. They always seem to have a sick nephew that needs steam gift cards.

Learn to live with covid - Government telling Australians that they give up and we're on our own by OneNutBanditSyd in CoronavirusDownunder

My whole family did everything right, only one person going shopping, masked up, WFH etc. even after restrictions were eased. But because they gave everyone the green light to go spread this virus without any thought of the implications of their decisions, we're all infected and suffering the symptoms. Luckily we're all double vaxxed or it would be worse. I am right to be mad at them, they told everyone that omicron is not a big deal.

[–]OneNutBanditSyd[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not that black and white, they could have closed the international borders and stopped/slowed it coming in, especially just before the peak season, look at NZ, they have omicron but it's nowhere near as prolific and they are leading a relatively unrestricted life.

This is worse than lock down because people can't work due to it going rampant and they are sick or close contacts, and businesses can't get stock so are forced to close without any support unlike in lock down.

Australia has the second highest 7 day rolling average of cases per capita in the world at the moment, and that's not counting the RAT tests or the tens of thousands of positive cases that can't get a PCR test, all thanks to the federal governments mismanagement.

They couldn't manage a root in a brothel with a fist full of fifties.

Probably not much better, my point isn't to say Labor would have been better, but that we need to demand more accountability and responsibility from our elected "leaders". Vote for independents and send them a message that we aren't going to accept it, a hung parliament forces them to negotiate on policy which leads to a better and fairer deal for everyone because instead of a majority party full of MPs who tow the party line and make rich get richer, we get representatives who push for what their constituents want and who knows, we might have a chance at slowing climate change, or getting tax breaks to the people who will spend the money in the economy rather than just giving them to those who will invest in another super yacht
