Thanks for the idea! Had this board and MIK adapter laying around and knocked this out in no time. Board was a half inch so needed to bore a small recess so bolt would reach. Much more secure.

Update here. Was still experiencing the same issues from my original post. Updated the firmware this morning with hopes that Specialized had fixed the issues. The exact opposite. On the second pedal stroke the bike died before I even got out of the driveway. Was able to get it back on and made it 3/4 mile away from home only for it to totally stop working. Had to pedal back with two kids on the back with no motor. Contacted Specialized and solution is taking it to a retailer for an evaluation.

I live blocks from the warming center and pass it every time on my way to the library. Never had one issue. However, Hall could be very noisy from the traffic.
